I think it's very reasonably priced. My daughter and son- in-law took me here for my birthday as they know I really like this place! Hamir even had a special candle for me! “I’m no fan of sushi, so I can’t speak to that, but I LOVE hot-and-sour soup. I’ve been disappointed with the soup at several other restaurants in the area, but Wild Ginger’s version of it is PHENOMENAL! Loaded with wonderful stock and truly having a sour taste with a subtle kick of spicy. (It’s surprising how many restaurants do not have both.) I could have made a meal out of it. Will definitely be back.“

“Great beer and so many options“

“So I called in a pick up order of a pizza and mozzarella sticks. When I called I mentioned I had a coupon (from their menu) for a large cheese pizza for 10.99. The girl on the phone said bring it with me. So I did. I went to pick it up; gave her the coupon and she looked at her coworker and showed it to him and she said I don't think we're taking this right now. So I told her it's from the menu I had at home and her response was "we go through phases of when we take them." Didn't even bother to ask management. Now there was no expiration date on it mind you and no one said that on the phone. So what started out as a 17.00 order was now 27.00. Sometimes you have to go above and beyond to avoid these types of reviews. GREAT customer service would have been easily accepting YOUR own coupon. If you go through "phases" don't print the coupon bc the consumer doesn't know when your phases take place. This could've easily been a 4 or 5 star. The food tastes great but the "phases" comment left me floored.“

“Overall service was great, waitress was good, service was good food was good. Ordered a spinach/cheese appetizer to go, was bagged ready to go but when we opened it 1 1/2 inch of dip ! N a small bowl with a half of a large bag of chips already opened, we only needed about 4 chips to eat it“

The authenticy from the people to the place sent me in overload of nostalgia reminiscing from when my Nanny was alive & visiting her and being in her kitchen (she had same type of tables and older kitchen gadgets, right down to the whiskey container's too) with her cooking breakfast. “We went on 2/8/25. Staying at the Hampton inn for a dance comp. Our waiter, unfortunately l, didn’t catch his name was absolutely AMAZING! More people kept getting added to our party, he, without hesitation, added more tables and chairs. He took our orders and separated the checks without us even asking. He just really went above and beyond and was amazing! I hope he gets the recognition he deserves! Thank you again! Food and drinks were 10/10!“

“Food was fantastic. Server was not so great. Slow cooker n getting drinks refilled. Asked for hot sauce twice. Note: it came after the food was eaten! She probably didn’t care because 20% tip was added to the bill because it was a group of 6. AC was running and it was 51 degrees outside. Nice cold air blowing from the air vents. Had to were coats. Ask to have it turned off. Server did nothing!“

“The dogs do not disappoint, and the tots are perfect. The lunch special is a good value. Extensive beer selection, and a well-stocked bar. Atmosphere is simple and unassuming. Clean, uncluttered. It’s a bar, with more interesting menu options and way better food than any number of places that look the same on the surface. Friendly and attentive staff make the visit pleasant, and the hard rock-centric playlist is darn close to perfect - and at the right volume to be enjoyable without being obtrusive. The pizza was great and we will definitely get take-out or go back again. We had, Eli as a server and he did a great job. They were a little slow on the food and service but can work out those kinks. “Coming from Baltimore it was hard to find a fried rice without peas and carrots etc..we found what we were looking for here!! I love the fried rice, and my wife loves the lo mein and beef and broccoli! Definitely my favorite spot here in York, and that is after trying at least 5-6 other spots!“

“The Cove has been one of our top 3 restaurants for years. No doubt I would still recommend them to anyone BUT we were there on Friday and I was SO disappointed. They changed their fries! They used to be so crispy and good, double fried (I'm guessing) in peanut oil. Now they're just ordinary. I'm not generally a big fan of fries, but I loved theirs. I so hope they bring them back! ❤️“

“If you just looking for a normal 2 egg breakfast with coffee you can't go wrong here. The food is consistent and good usually. I go here often enough and I have had days where things where off but then again I've had that happen everywhere . The food here is good , good price, and the staff is friendly and fast.“

“Good variety and great tasting pizza“

“We were looking for a new chinese buffet to frequent when we moved to the area and this is definitely it. The general theme of other reviews were that it was smaller but everything was fresh and delicious. That is 100% the case! The last few years every time we've tried to go to a buffet everything just kind of tasted like old oil or just wasn't very good. At imperial gourmet we cleaned our plates every time. Everything was flavorful, and even though the buffet itself was small they rotated in different dishes. They didn't overfill anything so there wasn't any old food. They're doing it the right way! We will definitely be back soon!“

“Best Chinese food in the area. Consistency is key and Great Wall has it in both quality and quantity of food. I always order online and when I go into the store to pick up my order, the phone is ringing off the hook and several people are in the store placing orders. It’s a true testament to how popular their food is. The staff works incredibly hard, no one ever stands still. It’s worth any wait you may have for your order.“

“Visiting York from out of town. I had an inch to eat some Stromboli like one does in Pennsylvania. We were lucky enough Shakey Jakes was open until 11. My team and I visited and most of us ordered a Boli. We were told a small would feed one person. So I ordered a large. Holy Stromboli, this thing was huge. I only got through half but I brought it home so I can enjoy it for the next two days. It was so good I felt like it was sent from heaven above. This was EASILY the best food I have ever eaten in Pennsylvania. I can't recommend Shakey Jakes enough. Can't wait to go there again in 3 days when I finally finish my large Boli.“

From the edgy (often loud) rock - hard rock music pumping through the restaurant, to the staff - always friendly and helpful, though not always what "some" would consider front line wait staff , to the food..... Always amazing and made to perfection. Special requests are handled with precision. I highly recommend giving this local, family business a try! My favorite is the Surf and Turf with Peach Warrior sauce but there are so many delicious options. My only "wish" is that you would offer a delivery option like Uber eats... even if it is only during off peak times of the day. I totally get that at times you are busy enough without the 'extra'.“
