“About a year ago, I went to John Wright Restaurant for Sunday brunch with a group of friends. I didn’t know what to expect, but the moment I arrived, I was struck by the beautiful waterfront scenery and the stunning, rustic building. Inside, that old-world charm blends perfectly with an upscale dining vibe, giving the place a truly special and unique energy. The brunch was absolutely delicious—so many options, including my personal favorite, eggs Benedict. Fast forward to last night: I stopped in for happy hour with a friend, and we grabbed seats at the bar. It was surprisingly comfortable and not overcrowded at all. The two bartenders were fantastic—warm, funny, and attentive. And the cocktails… OH MY GOSH. Just try them. You’ll thank me later! We ordered the calamari and crab risotto small plates, and they were so good that we immediately ordered a second round of the exact same thing. From a relaxed Sunday brunch, to after-work apps and cocktails, to a special dinner out—John Wright Restaurant gets a solid 10/10 from me. 🍽️“

Not only are your taste buds going to explode with flavor but the staff is so sweet and friendly. They’re quick to approach and get you situated weather it’s take out or dinning in. Lots of younger folks taking the orders, getting you seated and bringing your take out in such a timely manner. It’s also byob. “I got to taste four red wines and a Norton port, and Dani tasted a white three reds and their other Norton port. We had an excellent view for our tasting, and the wines were very good. We enjoyed some dark and milk chocolates from Evans Candy with our wines, and they were fantastic. A great winery to visit.“

“My husband and I went to visit my daughter--in-law, we went to today's pizzeria and I was shocked. The crust was very thin, the amount of sauce and cheese was perfect and the atmosphere in there was great. I also recall ordering a hole bunch of wings for a family reunion and that was the best chicken wings I ever tasted. I have recommended this place to a lot of people I know.

“I used to go to Pizzatown (R.I.P.) because it was closer and the food there was good. I'd gotten food from Babbo's a bunch of times since the closure and the food is very good. Most recently I got a white pizza with broccoli and tomatoes and it was excellent.

I like that Babbo's has a drive thru, as opposed to having to park and walk in like some of the other restaurants in town. I would recommend using the online ordering system instead of calling it in, if this is your first time ordering with Babbo's.“

“This was our first time eating here. We had lunch, and it wasn't busy at all. We had the nicest waitress, and when she gave us our bill, she drew a lovely flower on the back of it! Very nice! I had the grilled chicken salad, which was tasty and filling. The chicken was very good. My husband got the crispy chicken Caesar wrap with fries. He said it was good. The reason for four stars is because the women's bathroom could be cleaner. We would eat there again.“

“We were in town for vacation and went to Papa's Pizza last night for dinner, and everything was fantastic! The cheese pizza was delicious with plenty of cheese, the cheesy garlic bread was outstanding, and the cheesesteak was amazing. Every item we ordered was fresh and tasted great. “We stay there at least twice a year when we go to Events at Mount Hope Winery. The rooms are great and the resteraunt/bar never disappoints ( huge selection of seasonal beer/ cocktails) They even have a great selection of gluten free items at breakfast“
