“We went the other night and were not disappointed at the food or service. However the price was high and this is not critical but the ambiance was not there. The tables were so close that we could hear everyone's conversation. Also it was very hard to hear what the owner was saying when he was telling us the specials. There is no liquor available and you must bring your own BOB and for the price of the entrees, it would have been nice to be able to do this. Again I will say the food was exceptional but suggestions would be to leave more space between diners, lower the lightening, possibly use tablecloths rather than place mats. All in all, it was a nice one time restaurant but probably would not go again.“

“We had dinner this evening at the Water Shed Pub. What an enjoyable evening!!!! The appetizer we started with was the karaage chicken. I can’t explain how the flavors come together for this dynamic appetizer but, Wow! It was fantastic!!! Our entrees of the scallop po boy…..( yum!!! )…… and the seafood enchiladas……. ( oh my goodness!!! ). …were delightful!! So, so delicious!!!! Sweet potato pie and pumpkin cheesecake ice cream were an amazing ending to a superb meal!!! We’ll definitely be back soon! There’s lots more on the menu that we can’t wait to try!!!“

The staff was amazing friendly and accommodating lady so I didn’t know her name was so happy to be where she was working. She was pleasant and just happy something nice to see the food was amazing on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 15. I have the Hawaiian burger, everything’s prepared the way I requested the fresh cut fries salted perfectly. I will definitely return here whether I move to this area or another. “We have been big fans of Carpe Diem and Nino for years but in the beginning of October he catered our wedding and the results were even better than we hoped for. The food was wonderful (Chicken Parmesan and Meatballs). It was very tasty and fresh, not at all dry or overcooked as often happens when food is put out for a buffet. His house dressing is amazing, and I normally do not eat any dressing on my salads.“

“What a great find during a recent weekend in Harrisburg. Our server, Maria, was outstanding - knowledgeable, very friendly, and fun. Other staff members were also very accommodating and gracious. I particularly enjoyed the whipped ricotta app and arugula and beet salad. Highly recommend!“

“Food: The food (for the most part, there are a couple of items on the menu I'm personally not a big fan of) is pretty good & comes in nice big serving sizes (again, for the most part).

Price: It's generally about the same price or a bit cheaper (depending on what you get) as most fast food restaurants, except this is a diner/cafe & you are getting a decent bit more food per dollar.

Building/ Parking: It's a pretty tiny building with pretty limited parking (you can always find some parking somewhere nearby), but it's clean & decently maintained.

Staff: They're cool people, nothing extraordinary, but also nothing bad I've experienced so far (I've been several times).

Overall: This place is pretty good. If you are looking for breakfast (or potentially lunch) in Middletown, (from my experience) either here or the Brownstone Cafe are your best options (If you have a big party like 6+, I'd probably go to the brownstone, but just 1-4, here is really nice & there's typically not much of any wait like the Brownstone).

Justin made suggestions based on his likes on the menu. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the filet and lobster. We were both very pleased with the meals delivered. “Stopped by St. Catherine Labouré church's food truck fest today (8/17) and picked up a crab cake, an order of cheesy crab balls, fries and cole slaw. Man, everything was BANGIN'! First of all the crab is tasty, you can tell they're getting it fresh, and the portions were generous. Denise still had some crab cake leftover, and the cheesy crab balls were really nicely spicy, with a ton of crabmeat. We split fries, a HUGE order, and split the slaw, also enough for two. Fries have a seafood seasoning similar to Old Bay, and the slaw was nicely tangy, slightly creamy, just a hint of sweet. Definitely got the seasoning right, the crab is copious, and it's a super value. Denise reports: lump crab in those cakes, NO FILLER!“

“We recently visited Taste of Japan on a Saturday afternoon around 3:30 PM and were honestly surprised to find a wait but after dining, we completely understood why! The estimated 30-minute wait flew by, and the experience was well worth it. The hibachi buffet was fantastic, offering fresh ingredients along with some unique options you don’t typically see. The sushi selection and hot bar were both well stocked and absolutely delicious. One of our favorite parts was being able to take individual pieces, which made it easy (and fun!) to try new things we might not normally order. We also loved that all the sauces were conveniently available at the end of the buffet so you could customize everything to your taste. The dessert bar could easily be the star of the show. They offered individual ice cream cups in multiple flavors, novelty ice cream treats, and a variety of bite-sized desserts cakes, puddings, brownies, and more perfectly portioned so you could sample several without feeling overdone. They also had a salads with ginger dressing that we unfortunately missed at first since it was located in the dessert case area, but we’ll definitely remember that for our next visit! The staff was polite, attentive, and quick throughout our time there, which made the experience even better. Overall, a great dining experience, and we can absolutely see why it’s such a popular spot. We’re already looking forward to going back!“

“12/11/25 WARNING: This review is being written 1 year (to the day) AFTER our experience with Duke's. That's how strongly I feel about this restaurant. We had our son's wedding rehearsal dinner here. There were over 40 people in attendance & every single person said the same thing, "they knocked it outta the park!" The food was amazing, the staff was incredibly kind, even tending to a few extra needs with our older family members. As if that wasn't enough to "sell you" on the place, we got a call from them on our way back to the hotel, that we needed to come back because of a discrepancy with the bill. Having had an open bar for so many hours, for that many people, we really had no idea what the bill should have been, we just paid it....IN CASH! They called & had us come back because we OVER paid... by more than $1000! That type of honesty needs to be recognized. Anyone on staff, or the owners, could have kept quiet & we would never have been any the wiser, but they called as soon as they realized their error. If this place were closer, there's no doubt we would be regulars here!!! We loved everything about our experience & look forward to making the trip to the area just to go to Duke's. “We had a very nice experience at Wonder on High Pointe Blvd in Harrisburg. While the concept seems geared toward takeout and delivery, the dining area is modern and comfortable.

Ordering is done entirely through the app or self-service kiosks. The app may be quicker since there are only two kiosks. Valeria, our hostess, went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly and checked in on guests throughout the visit.

The menu offers an impressive variety of options. My burrito was very fresh, delicious, and arrived within just a few minutes, faster than the app had estimated. My friend ordered several items, which took a bit longer, but the wait was still reasonable and well worth it. She was very happy with her food.

What stood out most was the level of hospitality. Although the restaurant operates with a digital model, it never felt impersonal. In addition to Valeria’s attentive service, the manager/chef came out to greet guests, answer questions, and make sure everyone was having a good experience.

Overall, Wonder does a great job combining convenience, food quality, and genuine customer service. We'd gladly return.“

“HOURS NEED UPDATED. Facebook/online/their front door (everywhere) says they are open until 9:30 on Sundays. We went there to order takeout at 8:40 and were told we couldn’t because they supposedly close at 9. We love this place & work late on Sundays so this was really disappointing.“
