“We have been big fans of Carpe Diem and Nino for years but in the beginning of October he catered our wedding and the results were even better than we hoped for. The food was wonderful (Chicken Parmesan and Meatballs). It was very tasty and fresh, not at all dry or overcooked as often happens when food is put out for a buffet. His house dressing is amazing, and I normally do not eat any dressing on my salads.“

“Awesome steakhouse right off of 83 delicious food with a wide variety of steak and seafood the service was a little slow (but could have been because they were busier than usual for a Tuesday evening )though it still was not very full. It was a little noisy but still could talk nicely“

“We went the other night and were not disappointed at the food or service. However the price was high and this is not critical but the ambiance was not there. The tables were so close that we could hear everyone's conversation. Also it was very hard to hear what the owner was saying when he was telling us the specials. There is no liquor available and you must bring your own BOB and for the price of the entrees, it would have been nice to be able to do this. Again I will say the food was exceptional but suggestions would be to leave more space between diners, lower the lightening, possibly use tablecloths rather than place mats. All in all, it was a nice one time restaurant but probably would not go again.“

“We had dinner this evening at the Water Shed Pub. What an enjoyable evening!!!! The appetizer we started with was the karaage chicken. I can’t explain how the flavors come together for this dynamic appetizer but, Wow! It was fantastic!!! Our entrees of the scallop po boy…..( yum!!! )…… and the seafood enchiladas……. ( oh my goodness!!! ). …were delightful!! So, so delicious!!!! Sweet potato pie and pumpkin cheesecake ice cream were an amazing ending to a superb meal!!! We’ll definitely be back soon! There’s lots more on the menu that we can’t wait to try!!!“

“Planning to meet you from New York I’m always looking for a good burger place. I’m so glad we decided to try here tonight. The staff was amazing friendly and accommodating lady so I didn’t know her name was so happy to be where she was working. She was pleasant and just happy something nice to see the food was amazing on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 15. I have the Hawaiian burger, everything’s prepared the way I requested the fresh cut fries salted perfectly. I will definitely return here whether I move to this area or another. “I took my daughter and a friend to Harvest Restaurant, and we had such a wonderful evening! It was a chance to spend time together, enjoy good conversation, and try some of the fall menu. Between the seasonal dishes and my favorite Harvest burger, this meal gave us plenty to enjoy.
The soup was a delicious start to the evening. I enjoyed every bite, and it was exactly the kind of comforting dish I was hoping for while exploring the fall menu. Sometimes a starter becomes just as memorable as the main course, and this soup certainly deserved its moment. It set a lovely tone for the rest of our meal.
The pear and goat cheese flatbread was another highlight and truly helped make the meal. I loved the combination of the pear with the goat cheese—it felt like such a fitting choice for a fall evening. It was a pleasure to try something seasonal alongside a familiar favorite, and this is a dish I would happily order again. If you’re visiting to sample the fall menu, it deserves a place on your table.
Of course, I couldn’t pass up the Harvest grass-fed burger. It’s my usual order for a reason, and once again, it was delightful! As much as I enjoy trying different dishes, there’s something satisfying about returning to a favorite and being reminded why you keep ordering it. For me, the Harvest burger is that choice, and it was a wonderful way to round out the meal.

“Food: The food (for the most part, there are a couple of items on the menu I'm personally not a big fan of) is pretty good & comes in nice big serving sizes (again, for the most part).

Price: It's generally about the same price or a bit cheaper (depending on what you get) as most fast food restaurants, except this is a diner/cafe & you are getting a decent bit more food per dollar.

Building/ Parking: It's a pretty tiny building with pretty limited parking (you can always find some parking somewhere nearby), but it's clean & decently maintained.

Staff: They're cool people, nothing extraordinary, but also nothing bad I've experienced so far (I've been several times).

Overall: This place is pretty good. If you are looking for breakfast (or potentially lunch) in Middletown, (from my experience) either here or the Brownstone Cafe are your best options (If you have a big party like 6+, I'd probably go to the brownstone, but just 1-4, here is really nice & there's typically not much of any wait like the Brownstone).
