“I’m from out of town and I was looking for a place close to my hotel that served wings. And I stumbled upon this place, and it did not disappoint. The wings are smoked and then fried I got the garlic Parm with a side of ranch. Delicious. I also ordered a side salad which came out to be more like a dinner salad more than just a side salad, the waiter was super friendly checked on me. A few times is Ellis’s other customers. I also have a full drink. Menu would definitely return.“

“Great venue for events! Large indoor and outdoor space for music and other activities they do. There is a list of classes they offer from sushi rolling to glass blowing. The wines were okay, there weren't a lot of beers to choose from, but there were a couple nice options of each. Would definitely come again for live music!“

“We have been big fans of Carpe Diem and Nino for years but in the beginning of October he catered our wedding and the results were even better than we hoped for. The food was wonderful (Chicken Parmesan and Meatballs). It was very tasty and fresh, not at all dry or overcooked as often happens when food is put out for a buffet. His house dressing is amazing, and I normally do not eat any dressing on my salads.“

“This authentic Chinese Restaurant is a fantastic addition to the otherwise dull fare of "quick joints" in Harrisburg . Unique menu with something for everyone. Dishes, in ample portions, are served "family style" at the center of the table on a glass "Lazy Susan". No need to pick up and pass, just turn. and add to your plate. Front of house Service is very attentive and always at the ready. Very friendly and will explain the cuisine. We were a party of 7 and each one of us enjoyed our meal and experience. this place is a gem. Poultry, Fish, Pork, and vegan options are available. Exotic fare is also on the menu. This place is great and I hope they are here to stay! Families and kids are welcomed. BYOB.“

“Bills takes me back to a time when I was a young child. It's a beautiful old restaurant. The staff are fantastic, especially the older lady who waited on us. She said she was the waitress there from the time it was opened, many years ago. Food is fantastic! We always went for the breakfast, which came quick and was always delicious! Pricing is very reasonable. The only thing that I would change is, you have to pay cash, no cards. But, I did say it took me back. Thanks Bill, great job!“

“Ate dinner there about a week ago. Food was good but their telephone rang at top volume the entire time we were there making it difficult to talk or enjoy our meal. Complained to waitress who said it had to be that way so they could hear in the back for take out orders. The restaurant was far from busy for in house dining so I guess the owner doesn't care about us; only the take out customers! I have eaten here for years and tried to support them during covid but never again.“

We literally planned a weekend in Harrisburg based on Papa Joe’s. Last trip there we ordered something they ran out of towards the end of service on a Saturday night and one of the owners made the dish for us. Way to go above and beyond. “I have ordered from here many times since I started working a couple of blocks away. The food is alway amazing, the quantity is almost always perfect and the price is average. However the most recent order I had with them, I just wanted an Ice Coffee and I wanted to support a small business. They gave me a small 8oz cup full of just ice and the smallest amount of actual coffee. The two sips of coffee I tasted were delicious (Vietnamese Coffee always is) but I feel played, I paid $5 for the smallest amount of coffee a business could serve. I know when you actually dine in they give you an actual cup of Ice Coffee however the to go cup is so small its not worth it.“

The food is always unique, the draft beer selection is second to none in this town (have to go to Lancaster city or Harrisburg to compete with this). Music selection is good, servers are chill... I don't get why this place isn't packed. If u pass thru Etown u need to go to the Black Gryphon.“

“Stopped in yesterday for dinner prior to Starship and Heart concert at Giant Arena! Great menu selection. Margherita Shrimp Flat bread, Mexican Street corn dip appetizer and Amish Chicken for entree. And a Makers Mark bourbon and ginger ale over ice. And visit to the table by the owner David. Worthy of a trip to Hummelstown. A few miles away from Hershey Park!“

“My wife and I were in the area from Buffalo NY to pick up a rescued GSD puppy and visited Lancaster Brewing Restaurant/Bar while staying close by We had GREAT wings and wonderful beverages! We were at bar and our Bartender Destiny was the sweetest most accommodating server we’ve been privileged to wait on us absolutely the best, we loved the complete experience including all staff we had the pleasure of encountering! I highly recommend this establishment to anyone wanting great food,service, and atmosphere! Wish you were in Buffalo NY area! PS we have many breweries in our area but Lancaster is the best!
