“Came here for my nieces first communion I got the 16 oz NY strip it was delicious very flavorful and the garlic mash was to die for. Only thing I would change is the chairs outside but it’s about the food not what you sit on. I rate this experience 9.7/10“

“My husband and I have been coming here once or twice a year for many years, we used to bring our kids when they were younger after a mini golf game at Jim Macks. We always get the same thing, my husband gets a large pepperoni pizza and I get a cheesesteak hoagie. We always think maybe we will try something else but we end up getting our usual because we love it. Always friendly service and don't mind waiting a little longer for the pizza.“

“We found this place in 2018 when we were in state working. We have come back several times over the years when passing through for great food. We have stayed at the Inn a few times as well. “Be careful if going here. It looks like they are having real issues with trouble makers, which can happen with any tavern along the river. About 10 days ago they confronted a person outside who refused to pay. That guy pulled a gun on the employee and threatened to shoot them in the head. Look online, you'll see the news story. We went there with another couple anyway for supper aware of the situation that possibly the management wasn't able to keep the trouble out of the place. Within minutes Courtney had our drinks at the table and placed our food orders ... and then some white trash at the bar left out a super loud screech or whistle looking for attention. It was bad. Then he did it again a few minutes later and left. One more time and I'd have gotten involved. The owner needs to hire some beefy enforcement right now to keep a handle on this or the place is going to get a reputation like the Bainbridge Inn as a good place to raise hell and start a fight. NOT date night atmosphere.“

“My neighbor took me here, it's my first time eating here. We had the potato skins with seafood, & I had the mini salad, crabcake & fries. There were so many items on the menu, I couldn't decide, especially after viewing the photos on Facebook. Our waitress was VERY busy, it took a little while for service, but worth the wait! “A true gem of a restaurant. 💎 The decor is warmly lit, clean and smart with just a hint of "days gone by" and the variety of different dishes available will blow your mind. Their gyros are my absolutely favorite but their crab cake sandwiches are also very tasty. The staff was warm and friendly. The food is amazing and reasonably priced with the ambiance of what a warm cozy restaurant used to be. Go once and you'll definitely go again. 💖💖💖“

The food is always unique, the draft beer selection is second to none in this town (have to go to Lancaster city or Harrisburg to compete with this). Music selection is good, servers are chill... I don't get why this place isn't packed. If u pass thru Etown u need to go to the Black Gryphon.“

Also had a cheese steak Stromboli which was delish. The Italian sub I had needed more meat and cheese inside of it, but good flavors. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. “Always love their food, worked there years ago back when it was crazy fun , but the food is still really good was craving my favorite chicken quesidillas and surprised my daughter , always easy to order and pick up if you don't have time to dine in . Plus they serve breakfast all day and all night long. Always a 24 hour go to spot.

Kid-friendliness: They are great with kids and when my kids were little and used to tey to act wild noone ever complained. I know they used to give out crayons for coloring.

“Went on a late night eats. Evidently the kitchen closed at 9:45, which our waitress neglected to tell us when we ordered our first part of our meal.
