“I can’t say enough about the customer service, I came in to pick up a take out order and it wasn’t ready. After waiting a little bit the front desk went to check on it and said they were a little bit behind which ok it was busy and prime dinner time on a Friday. Not long after another employee came out to tell me they’re so sorry that the kitchen is behind and offered me a free drink of my choice, I passed it up and instead they gave me two growlers to go, mind you I was ok with waiting on my food I wasn’t complaining just waiting patiently. It was like 15min past the time they gave me ok, no biggie. When I finally got home to eat all the food was amazing and hot. In today’s world this really means a-lot, I love supporting local!! “This is a family run business and they are so nice. My wife and I go here once or twice a month and the food is always good and the service excellent. If the owner’s daughter sees us coming, she cleans our table for us (my wife has mobility concerns). It’s small town goodness.“

“Found this place on Google Maps for a quick lunch while traveling for work today and was not disappointed! My veggie pita with falafel was outstanding, especially the little diced roasted red pepper topping. Absolutely delectable. Also had a nice piece of baklava for the road.“

“I've eaten here a number of times and, I think they switched over to using smash burgers so, two patties is recommended. Today, they had our hamburgers sitting on the counter getting cold until the fries were done, Bummer. Fries were good.“

Where they fell short was with the overpriced drinks, Autumn rum runner and a martini. The martini came with a 2" square ice cube and not much drink. They need to take lessons from Penn's Tavern Restaurant on how to make a rum runner. No one has beat theirs yet.“

“The food is to die for, you cannot pick a wrong item! We got the crab dip appetizer, pulled pork entree, crab cake sandwich and the kid's mini dog with fries. Everything was spectacular. Highly recommend the apples and cinnamon as a side! The staff is helpful and attentive from the host all the way to the waitress and managers. I've never been to a restaurant where the service is so great! We will definitely be a return customer 😊 Side note: The restaurant is extremely kid friendly and accommodating. They have high chairs and tables with enough room to fit the high chair or a stroller while still having enough room for everyone else.“

Vegetables often disappoint, but a double order of the excellent fries provides potatoes with our eggs the next morning.“

They were fantastic. BUT the chicken corn chowder was even better. In fact: the best I have ever had, and we live in Lancaster County. “I accidentally ordered from the wrong place, but after I found where my food was and had some I was very happy with my mistake. The white pizza had a generous amount of ricotta and garlic and the crust had a nice crisp but chewy texture. The cheese sub was well balanced and was an exceptional value. I'll be back.“

“My husband and I have been wanting to try Silantra for months and today we finally checked it out! We LOVE it!! The food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly. Our 11 year old son had a chicken and rice bowl with yellow coconut curry sauce and he wanted me to write that it had the perfect mix of spices and the chicken had a perfect texture. Five stars!! “We ordered the drunken noodles and basil chicken. Unfortunately, the drunken noodles were not cooked properly at all — they were so undercooked that we couldn’t chew them. We mentioned this to our server, and he promptly took the dish away and asked if we would like something else instead.
What really stood out was his excellent customer service. He remembered that we had asked about the fried rice earlier and immediately offered to get that for us. He handled the situation without hesitation or making us feel uncomfortable. That kind of attentive and gracious service is something you don’t find at every restaurant, and we really appreciated it.
Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines, and I visit different Thai restaurants whenever I get the chance, so I have quite a few places to compare it with. The basil chicken and the replacement dish were also not particularly impressive in terms of taste.
Perhaps we happened to visit on an off day, or maybe the kitchen was preparing food quickly because we arrived closer to closing time. Looking at the other reviews, our experience seems quite different from what many other customers have had.

Overall, the service was excellent, especially our server, but unfortunately the food did not live up to our expectations on this visit. I would consider giving Sukhothai another try because the customer service was genuinely appreciated.“
