“What a wonderful market! Central Market in downtown York PA has something to offer for everyone. Housing a robust collection of prepared food, produce and craft vendors, the market makes for the perfect Saturday morning activity. Food options are diverse, ranging from fresh made pizza and bagels to sushi to Brazilian cheese waffles (must try). On the produce/grocery side, you have a wide variety of locally grown veggies and sourced meats available. Highly suggest checking out the oil and vinegar stand located towards the right side of the market, as they have some unique infusions that will elevate any home chef's creations. Prices overall are very reasonable considering the quality and locally sourced nature of the goods. Parking is relatively easy, as there are 2 garages within a block of the market as well as meter street parking (both are free on Saturdays). If you ever find yourself in York, definitely make it a point to stop by Central Market for some shopping and lunch!“

“Food was pretty good. I ordered a cheesesteak (I don't remember if they called it a Philly cheesesteak) but it was decent. The cheese wasn't very good looking cause it was the nacho cheese but it was still pretty good. I also got pretzels with cheese dip and the pretzels were amazing. A bit too greasy but they were absolutely amazing. The salad bar was great. A lot of toppings to choose from. I also had mac and cheese that was decent. I did not try any dessert but there was some stuff there that looked really good.It took at least 5 minutes for a waitress to come get our order but she was super nice and friendly.“

“This is our absolute favorite place to eat. It is also one of the only places we actually get appetizers as well! The staff is always friendly and flexible, the seating and ambiance is great, and the food is always excellent. I quite literally have nothing bad to say about it. Our favorites are absolutely the New York strip steak, the steakhouse Mac & cheese, and the chicken bites appetizer.“

“My husband and I both were craving a soup and salad bar today.Our local Hoss's in Lititz closed a few years ago and it's very hard to find any place that offers soup and salad. So I googled the closest Hoss's and found this one. We just had the soup and salad bar but I did o add the burger for just $2 more. Everything was very clean, fresh and delicious. They also offer a nacho bar complete with all the toppings. Our server was very efficient and pleasant. :) We will definitely drive the 40 minutes when the craving hits again. Keep up the good work!“

“Steak is always excellent here . 2023 April Update we went there a party of five the place was full. I bought my usual a sirloin steak mushrooms and the rest anyway all of our food was barley warm. I said something to the waitress that ask if I wanted it heated up I declined it was already dry and tough this is the second time in a row food was way under my standard the time before was in 2022. I used to look foward to going there . Today I made roast beef and it was so tender it melted in my mouth and the beef came from Walmart and it blew your steak out of the water 10x better and not dry tough or cold.Shame on you for charging premium money for 2nd rate food.I wanted to say something to the manager but my girlfreing did,t want me too. Even if we did get gift cards guess what someone still worked hard to pay for that gift card and I am asking for gift cards from somewhere else from now on. The word is out you don't care. Signed honest customer unbiased reveiw. Update this place always has new employees. But we just went there on 4/26/24 and everyhing was good. The steak fries were getting cold though. Steak was good and tender this time.The manager needs to keep tabs on customers reveiws and complaints.“

“Ordering lobster tail, even at a fancy restaurant, is always a little scary. Whether it will be done correctly, gummy, or raw-- all possible. And yet EVERY time we have had lobster tail at this outback, it has been PERFECTLY prepared. The steak is above average, but the lobster tail is as good as I have had south of Maine. 4.5 stars would be perfect.“
