“The owner is super friendly and accommodating to my 3 kids who can never make up their minds! She is understanding that my one son only like sherbet! The prices are affordable for what an ice cream shop should be, and portion sizes are perfect for myself and kids so hardly any waste! The menu is massive and the flavors change weekly but always are posted so you know ahead of time! It’s our favorite shop! The seating area is quaint and beautiful with plants and plenty of tables! They have dog treats and a water bowl available for dogs! This is a hidden gem!“

We stayed in room 6 & it was the perfect way for me to spend my birthday weekend. “This was a yelp find that ended up being a total diamond of a find. The drinks were well made and not overdone. The Brussel sprout appetizer is the best I have ever had. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, but the burgers are just amazing. Finally, dessert is just.... Wow. True creme brulee, made the way it was meant to be and in such a perfect abundant portion. We could not be more thrilled with our experience. The waitress we had, Heather, was just a font of information, she gave fantastic recommendations and made sure our first experience was just above and beyond. We will be back.“

“We absolutely love this place. The food is fantastic, very flavorful. I do wish they would bring back the roasted peppers. Wish they would try salmon sushi tots along with their tuna tots. Love their wait staff, they provide excellent service. The ambiance is nice, you can overlook the golf course, sit out on the deck or stay inside at the bar or tables.“

“I found this bakery today and I'm glad I stopped in. My 12yr old has Celiac disease and hasn't been able to enjoy the different baked good she loved. “Whenever we're in town for AAU games at spookynook, we make sure we stop in for dinner. It's a no brainer! The staff is cool/chill ?, very pleasant. The food is great.... prices are fantastic. I love the tuna tacos. I met one of the owners, she was so cool. It was refreshing to see an owner mix it up with customers. For watching sports...there are no bad TV angles. That was definitely well thought out. If you want a great experience and great food, REALLY good drinks ??Go there!!! Forget any other restaurant. They're the real deal.“

“This place is so underrated. I don't get it, the parking lot is practically empty all the time but this place is legit the best restaurant in the area. The food is always unique, the draft beer selection is second to none in this town (have to go to Lancaster city or Harrisburg to compete with this). Music selection is good, servers are chill... “After numerous people recommending John Wright, my wife and I decided to give it a try for our anniversary dinner. We did make a reservation. Everything was excellent - from the time we walked in til we walked out. Our server was very friendly, attentive and knew the menu well. The crab and corn risotto starter was absolutely delicious. I could order just several of those and be happy. I had the crab stuffed Mahi Mahi - it was so good, I was sad when it was gone haha. My wife had the seafood manicotti. Another fantastic dish we'd order again. The dessert was a light but mouth watering cheesecake. We can't wait for a little warmer weather to dine outside. The view of the river is great from inside but even better when we walked out to the patio.“

“I stop here at least once a week. Their beverages are wonderful...sandwiches aren't bad either. Their soups on the other hand leave a lot to be desired. I had the veggie last week...it was so peppery that I couldn't eat it...I had the Italian Wedding soup this week...that was just a downright disgrace! The broth was so salty and I have never had or made Italian wedding soup with sausage meatballs...there wasn't any chicken to be found and carrots, spinach and orzo were nonexistent. The broth was so dark at first I thought they made a mistake. Lesson learned...next time I want Italian Wedding soup I will make my own.“

“We visited MexItaly during a bus tour fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and had the best time! The quick service, unique space, and friendly staff made for an incredible experience. It can be hard to manage that many people at once but their team did a fantastic job and we were so appreciative of them accommodating our group. “Everything I've tried has been delicious and fresh. The only exception would be the steak. I've tried several dishes with steak (tortellini, tacos) and often the steak is chewy where you have to spit it out because you cant chew it.“

Moo shu chicken, egg drop soup, chicken egg foo young, chicken and broccoli, chicken lo mein, wonton soup, crab rangoons. We have had moo shu chicken at other places and it tends to have an "ashtray" taste....definitely NOT the issue here! Their food has always been spot on and when our neighborhood restaurant won't cut it, we will make the trip.“

They make my favorite quesadilla, I love their burrito, and love their sauces, especially pearl harbor. They're chips and salsa are also delicious. I also like the alternative atmosphere. Nice change for East York. Wish we had them in Harrisburg!“
