“I’ll be honest — walking into Bad Garden Kitchen as a lifelong meat eater, I fully expected a lot of hype and a lot of lettuce. What I didn’t expect was to leave already planning my next visit and actually miss meat less than usual! From the second I walked in, the atmosphere made me feel welcomed rather than preached at. The staff were knowledgeable and passionate, but not pushy, guiding me through the menu with genuine enthusiasm. What impressed me most wasn’t just the flavor, which was outstanding, but how none of the dishes felt like they were missing something — they stood on their own. Every bite was thoughtful and intentional. I left feeling full, happy, and honestly a bit surprised at how much I had enjoyed a vegan meal. If you’re a skeptic like me, go with an open mind — you might just find your new favorite restaurant.“

“Dinner and a show. Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing. “The Show” happens when you sit at Chef’s table and watch them team create one masterpiece after another. I watched them train a new employee to do the same! Pinch and pull the dough- enough sauce, but not too much. “Spending three days in Lancaster, Passenger Roastery & Coffee Bar was by far the best latte and pastry I had while exploring the county. Popping in on a July Thursday morning, here's my experience.

1) Coffee: The menu is simple. They have the basics, but that's how you know it's quality coffee. My latte was perfectly balanced, creamy, and highlighting the espresso in it.

2) Food: Their ham and cheese turnover is excellent. They warm it up for you. There are fennel and a few other things on top making it unique.

3) Service: It's excellent! Both baristas were kind, efficient, and warm.

4) Space: It's small, but beautiful. There are a few seats inside and out and a restroom inside.“

Very loud group next to us, so towards the end of our dining conversation had become nearly impossible. Good reviews on their soda bread, shepherd's pie, and classic fish & chips! “The ice cream is delectable, however, the girl who made it the last time I went was in so much of a hurry, the ice cream was half melty till we got it cuz she didnt make it correctly. She did not clean the plate correctly from the last time so we got fruity pebbles in our ice cream even tho we didnt ask for them. Otherwise, I've appreciated their wonderful food!“

“Our favorite meal of our stay.
We had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. That was outstanding. I had arctic char over a peach gazpacho. I wasn't sure if I would like the cold gazpacho with the hot fish but what do I know? It was great. My wife had the spare ribs. She was raving about how tender they were.
The service was also top notch. I don't think you can have a bad experience at this restaurant.“

“12.22.23. I always love eating here. It's a place where my grand children and family don't have to choose a particular entre and wonder if it's going to be good and to their taste. There is a tremendous selection to fit everyone's palate. Our family has been going here since opening day and are never disappointed. One grandson favors his own blend of food at the stir fry, another likes the susi and the grandaughter likes the sampler, a small taste of everything. All like the fruit and chocolate bar and of couse cookies and ice cream. I prefer the shrimp, general's chicken, steak and the cheesy crab bake. Staff are attentive and friendly. This is alway a top go to place in the area.“

“We were seated in the outdoor area, which was beautifully landscaped. The server was friendly and accommodating. My husband ordered a burger and a Hop Hog IPA, both of which were great. I ordered the fettuccine. It’s described as a creamy pesto sauce with house made baked tomatoes (like sun dried) which would give it a more concentrated flavor. But when the server delivered it I couldn’t see any tomatoes so I asked the server about it and she said she could bring me some. 10 minutes later she brought a small bowl of blistered cherry tomatoes. By then I had already started eating it and though the sauce was tasty, it was kind of bland. Adding the tomatoes helped but it really needs the concentrated taste of sun-dried, not fresh tomatoes. Crushed chili peppers would have been an improvement. I was disappointed in the lack of attention by the kitchen in getting it wrong twice, and by the long wait time. The server apologized for the wait but it would have been appropriate to knock a few bucks off the bill.“

“4.5 actually on the food. We stopped here on the way to our BnB in Willow Street on a rainy Friday afternoon. We had Wonton soup, beef pho, egg rolls, spicy pork with vermicelli and spicy shrimp with vermicelli. We did take out. Everything was delicious. Taking off half a star because the vermicelli comes in a patty form so which made it difficult to detangle and eat. We ended up cutting the patties with a kitchen scissors. They are very generous with dipping sauces, cilantro, lime wedges, sprouts etc. Their Limeade is heavenly, I could definitely have drank 2 or 3.“

“We ordered the drunken noodles and basil chicken. Unfortunately, the drunken noodles were not cooked properly at all — they were so undercooked that we couldn’t chew them. We mentioned this to our server, and he promptly took the dish away and asked if we would like something else instead.
What really stood out was his excellent customer service. He remembered that we had asked about the fried rice earlier and immediately offered to get that for us. He handled the situation without hesitation or making us feel uncomfortable. That kind of attentive and gracious service is something you don’t find at every restaurant, and we really appreciated it.
Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines, and I visit different Thai restaurants whenever I get the chance, so I have quite a few places to compare it with. The basil chicken and the replacement dish were also not particularly impressive in terms of taste.
Perhaps we happened to visit on an off day, or maybe the kitchen was preparing food quickly because we arrived closer to closing time. Looking at the other reviews, our experience seems quite different from what many other customers have had.

Overall, the service was excellent, especially our server, but unfortunately the food did not live up to our expectations on this visit. I would consider giving Sukhothai another try because the customer service was genuinely appreciated.“
