“I’ll be honest — walking into Bad Garden Kitchen as a lifelong meat eater, I fully expected a lot of hype and a lot of lettuce. What I didn’t expect was to leave already planning my next visit and actually miss meat less than usual! From the second I walked in, the atmosphere made me feel welcomed rather than preached at. The staff were knowledgeable and passionate, but not pushy, guiding me through the menu with genuine enthusiasm. What impressed me most wasn’t just the flavor, which was outstanding, but how none of the dishes felt like they were missing something — they stood on their own. Every bite was thoughtful and intentional. I left feeling full, happy, and honestly a bit surprised at how much I had enjoyed a vegan meal. If you’re a skeptic like me, go with an open mind — you might just find your new favorite restaurant.“

“Dinner and a show. Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing. “The Show” happens when you sit at Chef’s table and watch them team create one masterpiece after another. I watched them train a new employee to do the same! Pinch and pull the dough- enough sauce, but not too much. Carefully and skillfully place all ingredients! final inspection before the fire and then another after. Watch for this and that before you serve. Pizza will. ever to the same for me.“

“Stopped in during a conference and was blown away. The barista, Blaze, was incredibly friendly, seriously knew his stuff, and made the best latte art I've personally seen (four different designs in one morning!). The espresso was the best I've had in PA thus far, and the drip coffee was easily on par with my own pourovers at home. Also got a blueberry lavender scones that was as good as they come.

The spot is small, with very little seating, but I honestly found that charming. Maybe I'd have felt differently if I weren't there right at opening!

If I lived in Lancaster, I'd be here daily -- but for my wallets sake, it's probably best I'm so far away!“

“THE TACOS!!! YOU HAVE TO TRY THE TACOS!!! My family ordered the Taco special. 3 tacos for around $22 is not a bad deal considering the amount of food you get. The presentation was great and colorful. The beef brisket tacos were well seasoned and really good. BUT I was not prepared for the chicken taco. I've eaten tacos from a lot of places, TX, AZ, NM, FL, and NY. Their flavor is unlike anything I've had. If live in Lancaster, come Philthy Good. If you don't, find a reason to drive to Lancaster and go the Philthy Good. I promise you won't be disappointed. Amazing and I will be coming back and you can take all my money LOL.“

“This was our first time there. The food was delicious. Some of the best food I’ve eaten in awhile. The doubles was amazing as was the jerk chicken and smoked wings. The food is pretty spicy. Our waitress was great too and the restaurant was cute. Did have to park kind of far away.“

Specifically went with them because of their commitment to local ingredients and plethora of plant-based options. Seasonal menu options were delicious and staff was excellent. We booked on an extremely busy evening that also included another rehearsal dinner - we still felt like the center of attention and food portion sizes were healthy and consistent. Great communication by event coordinators, Tori and Jenn. Made the booking so easy and seamless.“

“A most enjoyable ice cream experience where you pick the ingredients, toppings, and syrup. The ice cream is made as you watch. They roll it up and place it in the cup and add your toppings.

Fun to watch and delicious to eat. They also have a nice selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches that are reasonably priced.

There are also coffee and smoothie options.“

“I went there with a group of 6. Easy reservations just a few hours earlier, good food, cool decor. We were in the indoor dining room on first floor. Very loud group next to us, so towards the end of our dining conversation had become nearly impossible. Good reviews on their soda bread, shepherd's pie, and classic fish & chips! Definitely recommend their cheesesteak egg rolls as well!“

There is a tremendous selection to fit everyone's palate. Our family has been going here since opening day and are never disappointed. One grandson favors his own blend of food at the stir fry, another likes the susi and the grandaughter likes the sampler, a small taste of everything. All like the fruit and chocolate bar and of couse cookies and ice cream. I prefer the shrimp, general's chicken, steak and the cheesy crab bake. Staff are attentive and friendly. “Chicken Pho and spring rolls. Not only does the food taste good, your body will let you know it's clean. The oil they fried the spring rolls isn is not re-used. My stomach would have told me. The broth has a full taste but not heavy and does not cause bloating, which leads me to believe the water used to make it is filtered . The portions of chicken are generous and a good value for what you pay. The dipping sauce for the spring rolls is not sugary and is a good balance to it's crispy texture. The space is small but well ventilated, and the instrumental music in the background is relaxing. You order at the counter and they bring you the food then you clean up after yourself, which I don't mind since everything else about the experience is satisfying. A lot of people picking up to go orders but I was glad I dined in to enjoy the fresh taste. Will be back.“
