“This was our first time there. The food was delicious. Some of the best food I’ve eaten in awhile. The doubles was amazing as was the jerk chicken and smoked wings. The food is pretty spicy. Our waitress was great too and the restaurant was cute. Did have to park kind of far away.“

“My husband and I used Upohar for our wedding. The food was sooooo good and we still have guests talking about some of the dishes! We had a combination of Peruvian, West African and Lao dishes. We recommend Upohar to anybody wanting delicious food at their wedding. The service and care they put into our whole experience was wonderful as well!“

“Went in to the bakery on a Sunday morning. Spent the better part of an hour picking out treats and having good conversation about community, caring, and pastry. Took the treats home and had a family tasting of all the fun things we found. Can't attest to the restaurant and bar portion, but our tea and bakery interaction was a treat on multiple levels.“

We had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. That was outstanding. I had arctic char over a peach gazpacho. I wasn't sure if I would like the cold gazpacho with the hot fish but what do I know? It was great. My wife had the spare ribs. She was raving about how tender they were.
The service was also top notch. I don't think you can have a bad experience at this restaurant.“

“Me and my daughter were at Tanger Outlets today shopping, we stopped in at river street sweets to get some chocolate the staff there Nicole and Audra were very welcoming and went above and beyond to insure are customer satisfaction. “We came across Amaranth Bakery at a festival recently. They had quite a selection of GF vegan options available. The brownies were the absolute best that we’ve had. Amaranth knows how to bake!“
