“So last night my family and me went to greers place we haven't been in a while and I knew the last time that we went. It was very good. When we went this time, unfortunately the human element has been removed from ordering and they've replaced it with kiosks. However, it's not a bad thing because it allows more people to place orders at once as well as for you to be able to see your options, but it does percent the possibility for technology to fail which it did last night. After we placed our order we grabbed a number told the machine what number we were and sat down at a table after I sat there and watched three other tables get surfaced with their food and all three of those tables had came in after us and my watch showed 35 minutes I decided to address the issue. And when I approach the counter with the receipt that we had, I showed the younger employee who was the first to make eye contact with me the receipt and several times of checking stated that we ordered two orders and that's why it was taking so long after a little bit of back and forth. The manager stepped forth from the back and discovered that the order was never even made. At this point, I know their food is good, so I'm willing to accept an apology and having them present something on my table, hopefully within a very decent and short amount of time. Since they realize their mistake I wouldn't have been happy but I would have accepted that as I think some of us have in this day and age.Instead he did something that I never thought he would do. He refunded my meal. He placed the order on an immediate rush and then presented us at with a gift card for the exact amount that we had spent. So we ate for free and in turn received a gift card so that we could again. This man did not have to do this, but he wanted to make sure that he would bring my business back again as I'm sure any good business owner would. When they realized that they have unfortunately failed their customer and he is correct, he will have my business again. The concern, the care and the willingness to accept one's mistake is huge in my part especially when you want me to bring you my business. It shows that not only do you care about your customers but you care as a person and if you can run a business using common Sense and being a decent human being then you will forever have customers he made sure to check on us that the food was good afterwards and he was kind. There was no yelling. There was no arguing. And once again the food was delicious and the prices were not horrible. If you come through this area, understand two things. One it sits next Sarah's ice cream creamery cuz sometimes it's hard to see the restaurant. Two there isn't a lot of seating inside but there is some outside and or you can do a Mobile order but the fact of the matter comes down to one thing and that is that this place needs to stay in The York county area for a very long time if you continue to offer great food. Great service and great prices. Then you will always attract great people who will be wanting to indulge in a quiet atmosphere where people can enjoy hearing music from the '80s and '90s admiring the unusual but very creative decor of the entire restaurant. But that being said, make sure the next time you're my county. You come to Dover township. You follow route 74 towards the Dover borough you look for the sign or building that says Sarah's creamery and then when you turn in the parking lot you drive past it and you will find greers and you won't regret it because I know I won't every single time I go back. Thank you Mr. Manager for making what could have been a bad experience turn into a great experience.“
“I was blown away with how quick my food was out, the kindness, and the employees were excellent, they went out of their way to make my experience a good one, and I really appreciate that, not something I can find at most other stores near york, your morning shift deserves a raise, I've been there on other shifts and the service is not as great“
“It has been some time since we stopped by Reeser's--I think we were coming back from a tubing trip--so we were all hot and in good spirits from the days adventures. We saw a sign for ice cream--smashed the brakes and whipped the Honda Pilot into the parking lot. We were thrilled by what we found--the sundaes(?) were creative and I recall lots of fresh fruit. We love walk up ice cream spots like this... will return if we are in the area.“
“The vibe was dope, the employees were so nice and personable, and the food was on point. This was a random stop we went to because we were driving around to a new place and it was amazing. Thank you again for the experience.Recommend the garbage biscuit. Don't go changing anything. I ordered it by a mistake and it was perfect.“
“I’ve been missing out this whole time. The food was great. The staff was amazing.Had a chance to talk to the owner and wow they really do a lot for the community. I’ve heard some bad thing about this place and it’s staff by other neighboring businesses that I won’t name but I will say it’s far from the truth.“
“Our server, Anna, did a great job! Between all of the other tables that needed to be attended to, she still made sure we had everything we needed in a timely manner. The staff is really nice, which helps make the experience even more better. Let’s face it, that’s why it’s called Friendlys! Come and enjoy the food and service. Good job Anna!“
“Really fun little bar, staff and clientele are great not to mention the owners who go out of their way to make you feel like family. Great entertainment regularly and affordable good food, every town needs a Kadilaks'! Also as a non-sympathetic former smoker, they must've upgraded their smoke eater system as everyone was smoking and I really didn't notice the stench! Also, I had the Italian pit beef sub with fries and both were outstanding!Parking: Parking in the rear and on street“
“We live in Elizabethtown, and always make it a point to come here when we are in York County as this is the closest Grill & Chill to us. It has it's busy moments, but for good reason. The food, ice cream and service is always on point when we come here.“
“We live in Lancaster and every time we come to York to visit our daughter we make it a point to stop at this Hardee’s. We have never been disappointed, service is always great, food is amazing and the store always looks beautiful- even the bathrooms. I have worked in food service for a lot of years (decades) so I’m always unconsciously looking and this store is more than a 5 star! Keep up with whatever you are doing because it works“
“Nestled in a prime location, the Dairy Queen on Queen Street is a delightful spot that combines convenience, friendly service, and delicious treats. While the interior temperature may be a touch warm, this doesn't overshadow the overall experience of this popular ice cream destination. One of the standout features of this Dairy Queen is its fantastic location. Their commitment to excellent customer service is evident in their efficient order-taking and willingness to accommodate specific requests. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, the staff members make you feel valued and appreciated, adding a personal touch to your experience. However, one minor setback is the slightly warm temperature inside the establishment. Nonetheless, the exceptional service and delectable menu options more than compensate for this minor inconvenience. In terms of menu offerings, this Dairy Queen has a wide range of options to satisfy your cravings. From classic cones to indulgent sundaes and delectable blizzards, there's something to please everyone's taste buds. “Specifically, Hardee's in Spring Grove is a fantastic experience, as far as fast food goes.Kid-friendliness: Family and kid friendly; kids meals available.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps and tables are available for wheelchairs and walkers, but doorways are extra wide.“
“THEEEE BEST bacon I have ever had. If you’re part of the anti-chewy bacon society like me and like your bacon crispy (but not burnt!) enough to break off with just your tongue, this is the place. I would just order a pound of bacon from here if I could, but that’s not on the menu so I’ll stick with the chicken bacon ranch sandwich! ??“
“Always delicious ice cream and a friendly experience! My kids love this place and it's a total bonus that there is a mini golf place right next door so you can just walk over! I love that they always top the ice cream with a little hard pretzel because it gives you that sweet & salty experience!! Thank you Bill Mack!“
