Really cool spot. Iconically old, original, something you’d imagine in England or Scotland or Germany. Love the wood. Absolutely beautiful. Hopefully it never burns down.
They have a “block house brewing” beer on tap I cannot get enough of. They need to clean.
Chili is amazing. Burgers mediocre. They want you to wear wrist bands and ID check for everyone entering. Never had this before.

My Husband and I came up to be a part of the Corvettes of Carlisle car show we had a car in the show and we were competing. so after the show was over we won 2nd Pl., of course Z06C8 2024. We participated in the parade and after the parade all the Corvette owners park their cars downtown so we decided to go into the gingerbread man restaurant/bar whatever you wanna call it so we sit at the bar and we sit there and we sit there we sit there we never was acknowledged a caucasianYoung Lady sit beside us so we began talking so when the bartender came over, she helped the Caucasian lady and the Caucasian lady said no they were here first she looked at us and walked away, never offering to help us m, never asking us what we wanted or give us a menu or anything my husband and I got up and left. We will not ever and I mean ever be coming back to this gingerbread man bar again!! terrible service and very disrespectful. We are all people color should not matter.

Drinks were amazing and on the spot. Security, Brandon and his team! Were very professional and welcoming. Definitely going back and making it my local getaway. Food was amazing!

Went here 48 yrs ago. A lot has changed as far as seating goes. But still a nice place, close to the theater and other downtown attractions, with a great selection of sandwiches etc.

We had a late lunch . I got the Mushroom & Swiss Burger and it was massive & delicious! She got a ham & Swiss grinder with fries which was piled high with meat & cheese and enough for 2! Love G-Man!

The food is great and 99% of the staff is excellent besides the 2 younger gentlemen that check IDs at the door. They’re absolute scumbags.
