Stopped on threw one of many times, had my favorite bbq and to hear they are closing this location in carlisle, Id hope they find another location in this general area again. . I hate the travel to Chambersburg..? please relocate in the near future ?
Hickory Ridge Restaurant did the catering at our wedding, and they were fantastic! Doug did a fantastic job over the phone helping us sort out the details of how much food we needed, and Amy came out to the venue the day before to setup which helped us so much... figuring out the food layout, bringing decorative trays and matching our style, making last minute drink updates and notes... they made it happen. The food was delicious, (we did a breakfast wedding) and both of us were...
Very friendly staff. Food was eh... At best. Seemed very senior aimed as the food was either bland or very salty. The BBQ sauce for my brisket was very overpowering. Tables are peeling on the sides. Not somewhere i would go again. The best part of the meal was the house salad and that was simply lettuce, cheese and 2 cherry tomatoes with dressing.
