Great Beer, Great Food, and Even Better Service

Stopped into Molly Pitcher Brewing Company and had an awesome experience. The place has a laid back, comfortable vibe, great for grabbing a couple beers and a bite to eat.

Our waiter honestly made the night. Not only was he super helpful with beer recommendations, but he had us cracking up the whole time. It’s rare to get someone who’s that good at what they do, and keeps the table laughing.

I ordered the fish basket and my wife got the chicken basket, both came out hot, crispy, and way better than we expected for bar style food. Paired with a couple of their house beers, which were excellent, it hit the spot.

Definitely planning to come back. Between the beer, the food, and the service, it’s one of the best spots in Carlisle.

Service was painful horrible upon initial visit. They carded people on entry for dinner so like backed up outside in rain. Then when I found my friends seated, a server scolded me because I didn’t wait to be escorted to the table they were seated at. Then she wanted to argue about it after I tried to deescalate. Really bizarre experience.

You are not allowed to stand here, dumbest thing I have ever heard of.

Best place EVER

There was a 3min wait in my opinion that’s a pretty decent wait. Once I was at my seat I got a beer and MAN WAS IT GOOOOOOOD the Carlisle lights is what I drank, then i got some fresh fries straight from heaven and I met the owner he is very nice and friendly!

Famous Tuna sandwich was different in the best way. The almonds, tomatoes, and slight tinge of sweet does something fantastic and it was loaded, so much I ditched the bread a few bites in because the tine was more worth the bite! Get the seasoning on the fried if you like a little sweet and spicy! Goes great with the BBQ sauce on the side. The appetizer of pretzels sticks was piping hot and I personally liked the beer cheese. The chicken sandwich was a little overdone but my kid ate it anyway. The double cheeseburger pretty good. We got there 20 minutes before kitchen closed so FYI kitchen closes at 9! All of the beers on my flight were good.

The best experience provided by Garret, a Carlisle history lesson combined with awesome samples of great beers and articulated exactly what to expect with each beer and food selection. He knows his stuff! If you like a bit of spicy try the Philly burger! We have never had a burger prepared that way and is the best we have ever had. The Turncoat stout was a complete surprise to this beer snob! Loved it despite it looking like a cloudy IPA. Loved the red coat and peanut butter stout enough to take some home. Thanks to Garrett we will be coming back to visit with friends!

It took a bit of effort to keep staff and cooks focused and still ended up with the order being slightly wrong. Still, it was a good meal.

It's a little loud and spacious so hearing your company is a challenge.

Food is a little pricey for what your getting, but no more than anywhere else.

My last point is that the menu posted on google maps did not match their fare. Older menus pollute the Internet. They should put some effort in to keeping their image current.

The Molly Pitcher in Carlisle is awesome and it starts with the people they hire. The servers are always polite and attentive and the kitchen staff are top notch. The Molly Pitcher has their own flavor that they add into just about everything they serve and it's one of my favorite places to eat. Their beers are also very good no matter what time or season you're in. The atmosphere is a little open for me personally but very clean and displays the old school feeling of Carlisle with the red brick walls, and open front glass window. Whether you're sitting at the bar or one of their high top tables, this is a great way to reconnect with friends and family, enjoy good food and good beer. I highly recommend it.

Parking: Paying for street parking out front. All depends on the time you show up. I believe you're good to go on Saturdays and Sundays no matter what time it is. And if you go later in the evening on weekdays you're also good. I believe they have their own parking lot out back that is free.

Kid-friendliness: They have fun little games available at each table for kids old and young alike.

Beer on draft is great and they offer some seasonal specials. Appetizers and entrees are affordable. We usually get the chicken fingers but there are a lot of options on the menu. During the warmer months you can sit outside. Highly recommend

Parking: Parking is available in the back, on street parking in front of restaurant and parking garage a block away

Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant has no stairs into main dining area- it’s wheelchair accessible

The food and service were great on a busy Saturday night. I will say the volume of the main room was loud. It is not a place to sit and have a conversation. It's got a cool vibe, and our wait staff was great. I'd go back...just when it's slower so I can have a conversation.
