A friend asked me to meet him at the Royal Kitchen for lunch. I walked in with a skeptic's view. Oh my gosh. This is the best Indian food within 100 miles and I've been to most central PA Indian restaurants. I strongly recommend.
Although, just a bit pricier than other competitive restaurants, the place has Excellent food and service. Enjoyed talking to Ms. Kamal who is always willing to listen to customers' needs.
I visited Royal Kitchen based on a recommendation, and I’m so glad I did! I had the Konkani fish curry, and it did not disappoint—perfectly balanced with heat, acidity, and a tremendous depth of flavor. I paired it with garlic naan, which complemented the meal beautifully. I’m not a professional food critic or chef, I just appreciate food that speaks to me—and this did! The staff were welcoming, warm, and genuinely kind.
