Hands down the best bbq I've had. The brisket and homemade fries never disappoint! We are frequent eaters here, the kids even love it!

If you are looking for really great tasting BBQ, give this place a try! Their beef brisket is amazing! Their smoked pork and chicken are awesome! They have several sides that are very yummy also!

Was in town with the wife at a vender event at the Carlisle Expo Center ahe was working at and we were looking for something other than fast food, came across The Original Official BBQ on the Google map and decided to give it a try. Definitely was the best choice!! Ordered a pulled chicken meal and pulled pork meal to go. Both had cornbread, baked macaroni & cheese and smoked baked beans w/ brisket in them. The pork and chicken were juicy and tender, baked mac & cheese and cornbread were delicious and the smoked baked beans w/ brisket were SUPER DELICIOUS!! Also, I recommend the sweet heat sauce as well!
More small businesses need owners like this place! He apologized for being short staffed and for me having to wait (which was only a few minutes) described everything they had available today and talked u til I left. We will definitely be back soon!

We tried this place out of the blue, and I had to complement the owner. I had some of the best brisket I have had in the state of Pennsylvania. I was so impressed, and so was my friend that I brought along. I have been involved in many businesses and involved in service with business. I wish this business all the success. I am planning to take a group of colleagues and friends for a lunch at this location. Keep up the good work. E miller

Tasty stuff. Had the brisket sandwich, tender and great subtly smoked flavor. And then, the beans...they almost stole the show. Aaron is pretty cool, friendly and takes an obvious pride in his craft and his business. Recommend this one highly.

Brought my mother and son in to try it out, and we have nothing but praise for the food and for the service. The pit master was very helpful when I had questions about reheating their frozen ribs and brisket, and I’m glad I asked - the food was just as good after thawing and reheating in the oven. I’ve had BBQ from countless different restaurants, food trucks and backyard smokers, and I can sincerely say that Original Official is at the very top of my list, and to top it off the fries were amazing too!

First time coming to this restaurant and after reading the reviews, we were very excited to try a new bbq place. To start, the front of the store had dirty dishes in the seating area and the staff provided us outdated menus with wrong pricing and wing quantities. We can get over that. Next we ordered a coke soda to go and we were handed a Diet Coke. We can also get over that. Then we tried to eat the food. The wings were terrible quality with actual hair and feathers still on the skin. The mean was dry and extremely tough. Out of all of the bbq shacks and food trucks and restaurants that I have been to, the Mac and cheese has always been homemade and never disappoints. This Mac and cheese, however, tastes and looked like it was straight out of a velveeta box from the store. Severely disappointed.

They do barbecue extremely well. Their smoked wings were great and their pulled pork was good as well. For me the star of it all was their sweet heat bbq sauce, I had to buy a bottle to take home with me.
