First time visiting and it definitely won’t be the last. Restaurant was clean, super friendly service. Everything was very fresh. Big portions. We are from New Jersey and eat Afghan food often. We were looking for a good Afghan place to eat when we visit our son who attends college in the area. This is must try. You won’t be disappointed
Came to Kabab House on the first day of a visit to Carnegie and the food was so good that we came back every day until we left town!
The Mantu, Burani Badamjan and Lamb Chops were our absolute favorites, with the chicken samosas (order with hummus!) coming in close! Service was excellent; we felt very welcomed and would be regulars if we lived in PA!

Kabab House serves flavorful dishes, including chicken kebab, chicken tikka, lamb kabob, and beef tikka, which are best cooked medium to avoid chewiness. The restaurant offers a variety of kebab options, and the kabab platter is highly recommended by customers. The sauces, rice, and babaganoush are highlights of the menu, while the salmon kabab is not recommended. The house hot sauce adds an extra kick to the meals, which come in generous portions at a good value. Friendly service completes the dining experience, with the owner even following up to ensure customer satisfaction. Guests have praised the catering, noting that it is excellent and well-received, making it a great choice for parties. Since the new ownership, the food, service, and quality have improved significantly, with many customers enjoying dishes like lamb shank with Quabili Pulao, which requires calling ahead as it takes 10-12 hours to prepare. The family style platter and mixed platter are popular options for small groups, offering generous portions and great taste. The restaurant is known for fresh, hot food that is delicious and well-priced, making it a favorite for both locals and visitors seeking a satisfying meal.
