Food is delicious, lots of local and different beer to try, good prices, the indoor/outdoor space is very fun. Would recommend trying it out if you haven't!
Chill, sophisticated space with fantastic craft beer. Drink prices are on par with other craft breweries in the area. There are a few pinball games and darts in the bar area.
Great food! The fries are something to write home about. My daughter is a new, and sole in the family, vegetarian and LOVED the veggie burger. Thrilled to have an extra option for her!! Beers always good too
I got to say, I'm really not thrilled to have to write this review. I really enjoyed my experience here. The wait staff was kind and the food was good. The reason for the two star review is that the chef that cooked my food came out of the bathroom as I was walking in and had clearly not washed his hands after taking a leak. How do I know that you ask? Well the urinal was still flushing as I walked in and just to confirm my suspicions I checked the sink and it was bone dry. There is nothing more important than being sanitary in an environment where you're cooking other people's food. This will be the first and last time I go to this place. Maybe I'll try the other one.
Small menu. Food was good, but the chicken on the chicken salad could use some seasoning.... They have a large beer selection (as you'd expect) and they're nice and cold. The other Mindful location (on Library Road) is better. The parking situation at both locations is less than ideal, but hey, that's Pittsburgh, right?
Beer choices here are very good. Atmosphere is basic, and so is the menu. They have burgers, fries, and a couple of salads. My salad was good, but the protein was dry.I was expecting tacos, from the other reviews, but there were no tacos or guac. Not a problem, as they did have meat and veggie options.Service was friendly, and the place was clean. Normal noise level, and it was easy to converse.
Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome outside
Parking: Good amount of parking.
Superb location. Not busy at all. Great vibe. Good food. Pick your own seat. Walk up to bar to order food and drink. Food brought out. Would go to this location more often than Castle Shannon imo.
Vegetarian options: Veggie patty substitute. Vegan friendly.
Kid-friendliness: Kids grilled chicken tenders better choice than fried tenders
Parking: Ample parking
Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and vegan friendly
Beer is decent. Good selection and variety plus lots of beers in the cooler. Inside is small, along a busy road and loud outside. Covered patio is nice. The food was awful, I got 2 vegan tacos and they were gritty like they had sand in it. Barely managed to eat it. Wouldn't eat here again, might drink here. Looks like an old pizza hut location.
The on tap beer selection is almost as good as the other location but there is a big selection of cans and bottles. I really liked the service. The person working there was incredibly nice and helpful. The area is spacious and it has a great environment. The reason this isn't five stars is because the food was terrible. My friend and I each got nachos. The cheese wasn't melted, there were a few other problems but it just wasn't good. I really liked everything else here, just don't order food.
Tacos were disappointing. The corn tortillas need to be grilled and doubled up to hold the filling. Seasoning, salsa, and limes are a MUST. Beer is great.

Such amazing staff, really great selection of beer (wish there were less mindful brand selections and more local brands). But the tacos always are amazing! Decent portions and always perfect. Ask for a side of the garlic sauce!
The staff was friendly, and helpful. The Mindful Brewing house draft beer Red Brain was smooth and cold. I had two fish tacos. I think these fish tacos are the best in Pittsburgh. Friendly, tip the tacos are small so order 3-4 if you come with an appetite. My friend had the El Pastore and she thought that it was just as good as Street Tacos in other cities.
They have interesting food and tonight there was a band that was amazingly wonderful. It played rock, blues, and boogie, danceable music that had the people on their feet, moving and grooving! It was amazing! I can't wait to go back! All my friends and family agree!
Worst burrito I've ever eaten. Corn tortilla chewy, inside ingredients not hot, barely warm. Rude server. The only good thing was the woman behind the counter (bartender?) was very nice.
Food is good, beer is delicious, but it's the staff that keeps us coming back. Super attentive, friendly, and just overall awesome.
