El Pollon Carnegie Reviews
Great food and friendly service. Highly recommend the chicken, fried yucca, and fried plantains!
Authentic excellent Peruvian food at a reasonable price. Service was quick and friendly! you can't go wrong trying this nice little restaurant.

El Pollon Carnegie offers delicious Peruvian cuisine, with standout dishes including chicken, chori burger, and chicken quesadilla. The staff is friendly and phenomenal, and the atmosphere is delightful, clean, and modern, making it a great dining experience. Both takeout and in-house dining options are available and highly recommended.
The restaurant's interior is fairly spacious and sizable with lots of seating and a bar area featuring TVs. Customers praise the staff's excellent recommendations, helpful service, and attention to the customer. Diners particularly enjoy the Tallarin a la Huancaina con Lomo, a flavorful and creamy dish, as well as the moist, juicy, and well-seasoned rotisserie chicken, delicious skirt steak, and the homemade Chicha Limeña drink. The portions are generous and extremely generous, and the Peruvian fried rice is a standout side dish.
Customers also recommend the lomo saltado and Lomo Saltado a lo pobre, classic Peruvian dishes with tender beef and sautéed vegetables, as well as the ceviche, well-made yucca, beef empanadas, and Papa a la huancaína. The tres leches cake is a perfect ending to a meal. While some diners were not fans of the rice, others enjoyed the Asian-style fried rice and the plantains. Overall, El Pollon Carnegie is praised as a great neighborhood spot for authentic Peruvian flavors and has a great variety of options.
