Island Spice Caribbean Restaurant

I got the jerk pork with rice and peas and some sweet chili wings. I gotta say some of the best food I’ve had in a while. The jerk is far too spicy for me but very flavorful, I enjoyed every bite even if my mouth was on fire. The wings were my favorite of the meal, they had a very balanced sweet flavor that left me wanting more. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone, will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Attitude of the lady in there on her phone while taking my order… ghetto af. Then she had an attitude. Like how? Why? Aren’t you at work? So in a rush to get back to the call….!!!!???? No!!! I paid $40 for an attitude and for the Food not to be good.

The snapper, rice, and cabbage were delicious. Flavorful, all served hot and fresh and very large portions. I want to go back and try more things!

We walked in better dressed than the average customer. Due to this the woman at the counter made up prices to fit what she thought we could afford. There is no real sit down service. This is more of a to-go establishment than a restaurant.
I wouldn't know how the food tastes since we simply left after given an exorbitant price for some truck stop jerk chicken that I could have gotten from a food vendor for 1/4 the price.

Curry goat. Always an amazing choice

Oxtail was delicious, fall off the bone succulent. Love the little bit of heat in the sauce. The CABAGE was the star for me, that little bit of carrot, onion, peppers in it made it superior to others I've had. The beef patties were golden and crispy. Wish i got a picture before i crushed the oxtail

Customer service was good but the food was not, mac n cheese was burned & microwaved seemed old not freshly cooked & oxtails was tough & chewy. I had to leave when I got my order so could not return btw I was visiting PA. so not from there. Maybe I came on a bad day.

I recently moved to the area and decided to try Island Spice on my way home from work; and WOW am I glad I did. You can smell the grill from the parking lot. I got the Jerk Chicken with a side of rice and cabbage and everything hit the spot. The flavor, portion and price were all on point, and it was quick! I'll definitely be stopping here regularly.

The food is terrible is slop

Asked for seafood mix since it's on menu and they don't have it,then asked for sweet and sour chicken on menu and told don't have that also!

There are no prices on the menu... half the stuff they didn't have. For a beef patty & drink $9

Absolutely delicious. I had the pulled pork dinner -- fantastic! Great little restaurant and wonderful addition to Carnegie area!
