I got the jerk pork with rice and peas and some sweet chili wings. I gotta say some of the best food I’ve had in a while. The jerk is far too spicy for me but very flavorful, I enjoyed every bite even if my mouth was on fire. The wings were my favorite of the meal, they had a very balanced sweet flavor that left me wanting more. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone, will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
Oxtail was delicious, fall off the bone succulent. Love the little bit of heat in the sauce. The CABAGE was the star for me, that little bit of carrot, onion, peppers in it made it superior to others I've had. The beef patties were golden and crispy. Wish i got a picture before i crushed the oxtail
I recently moved to the area and decided to try Island Spice on my way home from work; and WOW am I glad I did. You can smell the grill from the parking lot. I got the Jerk Chicken with a side of rice and cabbage and everything hit the spot. The flavor, portion and price were all on point, and it was quick! I'll definitely be stopping here regularly.
