Food was amazing! I had the pork belly bulgogi level 10 and it was no joke, I had to excuse myself to the restroom halfway through my meal to blow my nose but it was absolutely delicious! Every Thai or Korean place I go to I always order level 10 but this was the first time I ever thought, Whoa, lvl 10 may be too hot. Next time I may scale back to a level 8 but maybe not. The service was attentive and very friendly. It's a small place so reservations are a must but I highly recommend checking this place out.

Excellent food and service! The food is delicious and authentic. Highly recommend Seoul Korean BBQ for a delicious meal and excellent service!Vegetarian options: Option to make most things non meatKid-friendliness: My son (5) loves the ramen and chicken! I wouldn't suggest this for picky children but it definitely has some options.

Truth be told, there really isn't a Korean food scene here in PGH. The new Seoul Korean BBQ and also Golden Pig in Cecil now are the only "south" side locations that offer up this cuisine. Overall service is great and everyone is friendly and helpful. The lady chef also comes out to speak and ask how things are, making sure any feedback is used to improve their offerings and to make future visits more enjoyable for their patrons. Food-wise. Two favorites stand out to me: The bibimbap, a mix of rice, vegetables and your choice of protein in a hot stone sizzling pot topped with a fried egg. The seafood pancake (aka Haemul-Jeon) is a savory mix of seafood that is also placed on a sizzling plate. To top it off, the accompaniments (banchan sides of kimchi, picked radish and cucumbers plus 3 sauces) and the brewed corn tea really round out the meal. I have been back several times and enjoy coming here.

This place is incredible. It's the best Korean food I've had in a long time. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. Negatives: the ambience leaves a little bit to be desired, and the dumplings are a little pricey considering you only get 4 for $8.00. Haven't tried Korean food and not sure what to order? I recommend the spicy ramen soup with pork belly, and if spicy isn't your thing definitely try the Bibimbap or Bulgogi, most of the dishes are customizable with your choice of protein so you can chose beef, shrimp, veggies, etc. Please note: I wish they would update their website, their full menu isn't listed on there. If you order from their online menu you're missing a lot of what they have to offer. See photos of the in restaurant menu on here (Yelp).

Came here on a Wednesday evening in December. The restaurant was super busy, but the employees were working really hard to clear tables as they became available. We didn't have to wait too long for a table for two, maybe 10 mins. I ordered the kimchi jjigae because it was cold and soup sounded good. The soup came out really fast and the bowl was piping hot and filled with so much cabbage. There were a few small pieces of pork but I felt like it was 90% cabbage. The flavor of the broth was amazing and the spice was there. I wish they came by more to fill my water and give more napkins because I finished mine pretty fast, but again, they were really busy. It came with the perfect amount of rice on the side. There were four different banchans and they were all great. Would come back to try a different dish.

This place was fantastic. It's a small space with a very small kitchen, but the place was run by a very friendly staff who seemed to have a good rapport with each other and with their regulars. I ordered takeout, but they were churning out delicious looking Korean food in earthenware crocks and cast iron platters at the restaurant. It all looked optimized to ensure every dish was still piping hot and delicious by the time it got to the table. Everything we ordered was extremely well made and well presented. We ordered a spicy level 7 (out of 10) on a few dishes, and they achieved that heat by adding finely diced fresh chiles to our dishes. That was a nice touch that made it easy to temper the heat for those who wanted to. All-in-all, this was an excellent find in an unexpected section of Carnegie.

This is by far one of the better restaurants in Carnegie. I heard about this restaurant through my friends and family. The place was pretty small, but it has a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious as a person who is not a big fan of Asian food. For appetizer, I got the Korean Pancakes with some egg mixture with vegetables and a soy sauce drizzle. It also included 3 sauces which are their Teriyaki sauce, Yum-Yum sauce, and their hot sauce. I liked both the hot sauce and teriyaki sauce, but I was not a big fan of their yum-yum sauce because it tasted more like a thousand Island dressing, which I am not my personal taste. The main course I got was the pork belly ramen. They tell you what spice level you want your food to be 1-10. I said 3 and it was more than enough for me. They also bring kimchi and house radish on the table as well. The ramen noodles were instant variety, but I did not mind. The pork belly was really fatty and juicy and just worked by adding some of the kimchi and it was heaven. The reason why I placed it four stars was the service. The service was either bad or it is something I was just not used to. After the meal, he kind of just left me hanging around, which I kind of was weirded out. If you don't like Asian food, I would highly recommend coming to this place.

Quick service and delicious food. I was lucky and got a table right away. But this place is full most of the time so make sure to book. BYOB.

Nice little place with pretty polite staff, but if you're looking for authentic Korean food I would look elsewhere. The bulgogi was more like an overly sweet stir fry than a traditional bulgogi. The kimchi was pretty good, but spicy. The gyoza were too be expected, but I wouldn't put too much hope in getting an authentic entree at this restaurant.

Surprisingly tasty authentic KBBQ and tofu soup dishes. Chef is Korean, with all others helpers non-Korean. Food prep is slow but good. Place is tiny, so not very well set for romantic outing, but also well-kept and no bbq mess in the dining area. :-) We really enjoyed the visit, even though we ended up being rushed due to a planned viewing after the meal. The staff took care of our time constraint and packed up our meal well. We just missed some of the side dishes. Next time!

We ordered the Chicken Bulgogi, Kalbi (short ribs) and vegetable egg rolls. The egg rolls were VERY oily!!! Oozed oil with every bite. Not all the prices were the same as menu, couple dollars higher. Our main dishes were full of flavor. The space is small. Weird that we were seated at a small table-2 seater and the guy after us had a 4 seater to himself. I'm from HI and the Asian cuisine here leaves a lot to be desired

If you like delicious, spicy, hot food, this is your place! Waiters were very friendly. I can tell by the amount of patrons, and the ones wating to get a table, that thisnis a popular restaurant. And I can see why!

If there’s going to be a long wait, it would be nice to give us an estimate of how long it might be from the beginning. Get organized, please.
