We had Island BBQ for our wedding. We got the smoked Mac & cheese, pulled pork, red skin potatoes and roast beef AuJus. Everything was delicious. They packed up and put everything away for us without a bother. I highly recommend.
My husband, our 7y.o daughter and I stopped there on the way home from a family trip. I asked for my daughter a cone of vanilla ice cream with sprinkles and they gave us a cup. Then when we said we ordered it in a cone, the girl put a cone on the top of the ice cream that she gave us on the cup. We had to clarify the third time that she wanted an ice cream in a cone. I get it, maybe they were tired too, it was a Holiday weekend and everything, nevertheless it left a little bitter...
We stop in here from time to time when we travel through the area. We stop for their bbq! They have a great variety of smoked meats and chicken on the weekends! The variety platter is the way to go :)
They also have a wide variety on the ice cream and dessert side as well but we usually don't have room after the BBQ meal :)
We like to eat outside under the pavilion where they have tables, bar style seating, oversized checkers, cornhole...
