5 people for dinner, we had the most delicious meals in awhile from a restaurant. Love the tomato sauce and seafood combo.

We ordered 2 of the Zuppa do Pesce and the grilled romaine salad. The Zuppa was so salty we couldn’t eat it. The grilled romaine was good. Immediately after eating a few bites of the Zuppa (couldn’t finish) and half the romaine though my stomach got really upset I couldn’t eat anymore. Def something to do with the

We arrived early and were immediately seated. The server was friendly and knowledgeable and was very attentive to us. We ordered our dinners and enjoyed large portions. My seafood dinner (Zappa de Pesce) was delicious. My wife ordered Amalfitana and was very pleased. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Definitely worth the trip.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants. Always excellent food and great service, but the host ( who I assume is the owner) has zero personality and not at all friendly. Other than that it is a terrific place to eat.

Yup, absolutely! Really, really delicious italian, large portions and reasonable prices. Exactly what you want out of an Italian spot. Highly recommend!

Horrible! We had a reservation for all our guests and when we got there they had us at separate tables and refused to let us put our tables together. The owner was very rude

Party of 9, welcomed from the time we walked in the door. So nice to be able to make a reservation! Apps: bruschetta with and without cheese was delish and big portions, calamari was softest I've ever had, crab fingers special never saw it before so nice surprise. Small but tasty. Dinners: eggplant and veal parms, seafood pastas in rose sauce, meatballs in red sauce. All were top notch and big portions. All having dinner tonight of our leftovers ?. Def will return. It's a family business that is well run and friendly!

Food and service both very good. The bonus is you may bring your own wine.

As vegetarians, we often eat at Italian restaurants when we travel. We were staying in Northern Wilmington, DE and wanted a place that wasn’t too far, so we decided to try Arugula Ristorane in Chadd’s Ford, PA. I saw the “BYOB” on Google, but honestly it didn’t register since I’ve never seen that for a restaurant before. So, if you do go, just know they don’t sell any alcohol so you’ll need to bring your own. For us, that wasn’t much of an option since we were traveling and don’t generally drink more than one glass of wine with dinner. No biggie, but good to know. When we went in, it wasn’t very crowded, and the man at the front desk didn’t seem the least bit interested that we were there or in seating us. In fact, he just seemed kind of annoyed that we were bothering him. However, the waitress was a delight. Very friendly, very helpful. I ordered the gemelli pasta tossed with mushrooms, peas and sundried tomatoes in a lite cream sauce. It was ok - not bad, but not something I’d rave about or go back for. Overall, it seems like a better place for locals who can be regulars and bring their own bottle of wine or beer. I wouldn’t recommend it for travelers.

Been a patron for several yrs & brought many people here. Food is good and wait staff is great! The Owner at the front desk is rude, condescending and treats his customers & staff horribly. I can no longer support someone like that and will not be going back. I can find food just as good elsewhere!

Wonderful food. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the noise. We had to shout to hear eachother over the other large parties. Would not recommend for anyone who has any slight hearing impairment. I can see they tried to put some sound dampers on the ceiling. But maybe carpet or something would help?Parking: Fair amount of parking. The parking lot sneaksup on you as you approach.

I have been here a few times. The first time was when they originally opened. The food was good then. I had delicious risotto. Each time I have gone it seemed to have been declining. My most recent visit was for a birthday. We were a group of 14, and out of courtesy for the staff, we went ahead of potential dinner rush. Our server did well keeping drinks full and orders served accurately. They couldn't keep up with table bread requests. To be clear, we only asked for a second round of bread for the table. We had to rearrange the seats to give people elbow room as they refused to add another small table. The owner was not friendly at all, and every time he passed our table he wreaked of cigarette smoke. The food was average at best. There were multiple orders of chicken parm. Each one looked like it could have been prepared at home, and the flavor was lacking. It's unfortunate, but for the money spent I would rather go elsewhere.
