La Mia Pizzeria ( Chadds Ford Pa.)

La Mia Restaurant has quickly become my absolute favorite place to order from in Mendenhall. The chopped salad with extra meat is honestly addictive—I’ve had it four days in a row and still can’t get enough. It’s perfectly balanced, super fresh, and packed with flavor.

The pizza is equally impressive—think classic New York-style with just the right amount of chew and crisp. I especially love that they let you choose how baked you want your crust—a small touch that makes a big difference.

On top of the great food, their delivery service is top-notch. My orders always arrive earlier than expected, and the young delivery staff are polite, conscientious, and clearly take pride in their work.

La Mia is consistently delicious, reliable, and a true local gem. Straight 5/5 stars. Highly recommend!

The head cheif said I got you a pizza in 10 min because he seen i was in a hurry and a swear it came out in 5 amd was the best pizza I had in a min. Killed the service and reading the situation. Definitely stopping back again!!

The pizza is mediocre, everything else is from Sysco. The owner and the previous owners are not good people. The owner keeps all of the in house tips and when customers ask if the employees keep the tips the owner forces them to say yes. The owner has clearly never owned a business or been in customer service because he is just awful. None of the cooks wear gloves as well and I have seen them stick their bare hands into food with dirty nails. The previous owners work on fridays and are worse than the new owner. Victoria and Tim are awful. It sucks that such horrible people are employed here and own this place.

Ordered pizza through DoorDash. It was excellent. Perfect amount of cheese and sauce and the crust (“well done, not burnt”) was great too.

Stopped by here on the way back from Longwood Gardens. Good pizza, made fresh in the store. No indoor dining and no restroom as this is really meant for takeout. There are a few seats outside which is okay if it is not too windy and the temperatures are moderate.

I went there and. I wanted to order half chicken buffalo half cheese and while the girl at the cash register was trying to enter my order into the system, a gentleman came running from the back and said we don't do this and I asked why and he spoke sarcastically. because I don't want to do it A good shopkeeper wouldn't talk to a customer like this and right now. because of these rude answers. He lost 5 customers from now on. I won't even go in front of his door

Ordered a small pizza and Italian hogie, pizza was great! The hogie had only the meats and a strand of lettuce, a few cubes of tomato and three pieces of onion. No provolone, salt&pepper, oregano, nor oil and vinegar. When I ordered from the girl, she asked no questions so I assumed it was as described on the menu.

To be clear, this rating is for their sandwich’s I ordered. I got the buff chx and ordered with extra meat. The bread was worse than Wawa quality and not only was it not extra meat, I got charged for it and there was barely any meat in the sandwich. Ridiculous!
I then asked the owner what other sandwich I should try and he suggested the hot honey chicken. The cutlet was dry as hell and the bread… well you know. I mean, it sounded good to order on the menu but since all the parts inside were poor quality and cooked badly it was also a major failure.

The Stromboli I ordered for the kids was good. I ended up eating that instead and throwing away the sandwich’s.

If you can’t make it good, don’t put it on the menu is my suggestion. There no room for arguing this, I grew up eating all kinds of amazing Philly sandwiches and these were horrible.

Had pizza delivered to Chadds Ford Winery. We appreciated their prompt response, text communication, and humor. After we opened our box, another small group of ladies sitting nearby couldn't resist but ask where our pie was from. They did not skimp on the toppings. Definitely recommend!

Best pizza in the area, great sauce and thin crust! Delivery for our family party was on time and all the food was hot and ready to eat. We have done take out and delivery.
