This place is such a cute, hidden gem. They offer sandwiches, salads, baked goods and of course their famous mushroom soup. It's a great place to stop for a quick bite on your way to Longwood Gardens or during the day shopping at many of the area's cool antiques shops. The place is pretty small, about 6 tables total but we've never had a problem getting seated.

Super cute little sit-down cafe/shop. My portobello sandwich was huge and delicious! The staff was fast and kind, too! Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Love mushroom cafe! They have the best chai latte and great mushroom soup! Very friendly staff as well!!!
This charming cafe is equal parts cozy and eclectic. They make not one, but TWO savory chicken salads (curry or tarragon) which go equally well in sandwiches and on salads. I've had the mushroom soup as well and for a cream of mushroom soup it was surprisingly delicate both in texture and flavor. Very well done. I've stopped in for breakfast as well and had an egg sandwich with the perfect ratio of egg and cheese and veggies. It's a little out of the way of the larger towns, but I find it all the more charming for it.
