What a find!! We bought Top Choice Filet Mignon wrapped in Bacon. Cooked to medium rare and they were like butter. Great flavor and fantastic quality. It's not right around the corner from us, but well worth the trip. We'll definitely be going back. I highly recommend.

Excellent selection of meats and assorted sauces/seasoning. Staff are always personable. I drive 30 min to, at least once a month!

My friend and I tried this place since we r new to the area and r originally from ny and love cooking steaks. We decided to buy one steak. As soon as we got home the steak smelled funky but we decided to cook it anyway.

Once we cooked it, it was horrible. Horrible aftertaste and was just overall bad. Paid 46 dollars for a steak that was probably in the case for a week. Very sad bc we saw the reviews and were somewhat excited. We will be still on the hunt for a butcher.

Whether buying beef, seafood or a speciality item, quality abounds at The Meat House in Chadds Ford. The staff are friend and efficient. Their brined turkeys are outstanding!

The man working the deli/ hot sandwich station was such a nice guy! Made a delicious turkey and cheese sandwich and my husband loved the steak tip sandwich!

Have to be honest the prices are … HIGH. $15.95 for a quart of chicken soup? It’s chicken soup … 7.99 lb for chicken breast ? We totally support small business and also understand a butcher will be higher than grocery store prices,
but this seems excessive.

I will still come back though. The customer service is awesome and that turkey hoagie ….

I’m only reviewing their hot foods. I got their #2 cheesesteak. It was okay. The beef was great but the flavor was lacking. I expected more for the price I paid. They appear to be a great purveyor. I would go back for some special occasion or niche foods.

So we order sides for Thanksgiving. The Stuffing that cost 50 dollars was absolutely loaded with spices to the point you could not eat it.We had 10 people and not one person would touch it after trying a bite. We literally threw out the entire side. Normally everything is great from hear. Someone had to have measured the spices wrong.

Lots of exotic meats, I always get the foie gras. A few veggies and cheese available.

My family and I have shopped here since moving to Glen Mills, despite the very high prices. We are committed to shopping local and supporting small businesses. This place in no way supports this community. I was a full week at Nemours with an autistic child having seizures. Missed the cut off date to order Thanksgiving dinner. No exceptions. I say walk in my shoes.No kindness, no compassion.

I absolutely love the quality of food here!! All the meats that are rawl are top notch. They're marinated meats. Amazing!! I got the frozen beef Wellington that they made. It was so good it melted in my mouth!! Twice baked potatoes. You could probably feed one for three people. They're that fat and filled!!
