Leo's is doing a great job of transitioning and finding the right staff. Food is very good here, and I for one have no issues while they transition from one to the other trying to figure things out. Everyone here has always been nice and friendly. A little patience goes a long way.“

Many people might be turned off by the "no frills" first impression. But the honest interaction is what works for us. No facades. What I like.“

Michele the waitress was great, polite and professional, my service was perfect, my prime rib dinner was fabulous, so was the crab cakes, salad, mash tasters, and french onion soup. “I wandered in here on a Saturday to grab a pint of Guinness and to get out of the sun to rest my bones on a comfortable chair which I found here. Upon entering I noticed the ash trays and that heavy smoky nicotine smell I grew accustomed to when I also smoked cigarettes in bars. It brought back memories of good times with friends. I was greeted warmly by the bar person and served promptly with a Guinness and some local Doylestown conversation. I couldn't stay long and I had already eaten but I will surely go back on a Saturday for some more conversation a pint and some food of course!!“

“The Whitpain Tavern is my go to neighborhood bar and restaurant. Great food, friendly employees and some of the best cocktails out there. The bar has it's share of regulars and it is always fun to go in, have a drink and talk with everyone at the bar. Tina who works behind the bar during the day is one of the best bartenders out there. Friendly, attentive, remembers her customer's names and knows her craft. Pat and Alex the owners are hands on, there every day and take pride in their establishment. Two super nice people that get to know their customers. The Whitpain is like my Cheers and I look forward to my visits there each week.“

“I laugh people complaining about the smoking, go some where else it’s very simple or sit in non smoking and don’t complain about the smoke. Dont expect a small business to have ventilation like a casino y’all that’s ridiculous. There’s very few places left that still offer a smoking section. God forbid a handful still offer it. Get off your high horse as the country has officially catered to nonsmokers in 2025. If this review triggers you, grow up. This place is awesome don’t ruin it for us “degenerates” that are living our shortened lives. 👌“
