“The food here is AMAZING! I have not had one bad thing yet and they come out on such cute plating! The bartender Abriana is even better! After just the first drink, she remembered my order ever since and makes great, honest recommendations. And the place in general has a great atmosphere, lighting and decor during the different holidays and seasons. Much recommended!“

The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with tasteful decor and soft lighting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The menu at Palz offered a wide variety of options, from traditional dishes to more innovative creations. I opted for the chef's special, a seafood pasta dish, and I was blown away by the flavors and presentation. The dish was expertly prepared, with fresh and high-quality ingredients that made each bite a burst of deliciousness. In addition to the amazing food, the service at Palz was exceptional. “We had a nice lunch today! I loved my eggplant, tomato, and avocado tower. My friend loved her tomato basil soup and bacon grilled cheese! Our server was attentive, timely, and informative. It's a great go-to place at any time. Parking was plentiful! This time, we had some apps. Service and food are still great!“

“So this place has a great atmosphere, very good food, and the service is very friendly. I will definitely be back with some friends. The only issue was that it took a very long time to be served and to receive our food. It was a Sunday evening, so I do expect to wait, but it was an hour and 10 minutes from us sitting down to receiving our meal. It was also 20 minutes from us sitting down to receiving our drinks. I know these guys are busy because their food is very good, but it’s just a very long time to wait when you go out for dinner.Like I said, I will be back because the food was great and hopefully this was just an off night.“
“The team at The Madison and Thomas, in particular, were exceptional. The venue's beauty was breathtaking, and its cleanliness was without fault. The culinary experience was a highlight, with dishes that transcended traditional event food, both in presentation and quality. Thomas, a true professional, made the planning process a breeze with his patience, knowledge, and helpfulness. The service received from Immanuel and the staff on the night of was flawless, and every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our guests felt welcomed and cared for. A big thank you to everyone for making this milestone event so memorable.“

“Great food, great service, great experience. I highly recommend if you actually eat and try different food and you're not that, "chicken strips and French fries person everywhere you goParking: Only thing bad if I can even complain about this is parking but it's Philly. I would suggest giving yourself time and you might have to walk but other than that (which is really nothing) it's a great place“

“We've dined here a few times The previous time was really great. This time everything was off. The server needs to be trained. Previous time we had the duck confit and it was fabulous. This time it was overcooked and just plain crispy to the point of being difficult to eat. I love that East Falls has this neighborhood gem but wish that they'd step up their game, especially at this price point.“

“We love Steam Pub. Thank you so much to Chris for making things right with our order we had from takeout. We thought things were missing and Chris went above and beyond to fix it. It turned out that it was our mistake and when we went back to give back the gift card and wine he had given us he would not take it back. We go to Steam almost weekly and this kindness and amazing customer service guarantees we will continue to be loyal customers. Our sincerest apologies to all who prepped our order correctly. It was our oldest son’s mistake for not seeing the second bag. Thanks again and see you soon“

“So back when I used to be in the area frequently, I had heard horror stories about this place... but that was pre-COVID. Now, I don't see what the rumors were all about; place is clean and easy to find, parking is sizable, pretty spacious & can hold a large party (with call ahead reservations of course) and staff at the bar area were personable enough“
“We had a private event here which included the upstairs space along with beer and wine. The bartender and staff were wonderful and we had a great time! We had about 30 people and the space was a bit tight. I wouldn't book it if the event calls for any full group activities (like games) since it can be hard to hear (open space/ceilings). It's perfect for happy hour or casual/social events like birthdays. Also keep in mind there's a good amount of stairs and no elevator. The tables are high tops along with 2 booth areas. Everyone was happy with the drinks and I requested a mocktail which was delicious. Downstairs is spacious and it seems like a cool spot for shows. There was a cover band setting up as we were heading out.“

“It took far too long to get here, but I was finally able to hit McNally’s Tavern in Chestnut Hill for “The Schmitter”. There were quite a few things on this menu that looked good so don’t be surprised to see a follow up on this at some point, but had to talk about this sandwich and experience specifically. So we went on a Friday night around 7pm (had just landed in Philly at the airport) and the place was packed! We were lucky and a couple was leaving shortly after we told the hostess about our party so we sat fairly quickly. Cool vibe in the place, tin mugs hanging from the ceiling and sports on all the tv’s. Like I said though, crazy packed so it was loud and a bit chaotic. The Schmitter is a pretty odd sandwich honestly given what’s on it. Basically a cheesesteak with onions, tomato’s, salami, and their sauce that is similar to a Big Mac sauce. I’d never have thought to add salami to a cheesesteak, but here we are. The flavor was quite good, it was on a round Kaiser (you can order long roll if you want) which reminded me of donkeys place a bit, and the tomato added a nice freshness as well. The price is what you’d expect, maybe a tad bit more, for the sandwich and it comes with basic ridged chips. My girlfriend also got a chicken cheesesteak that was good but looked awful. They use a broiler/salamander to melt the cheese and it came out looking burnt, but it tasted fine. All in all I enjoyed it and will come back again and get another or sample other items. The Schmitter at McNally’s Tavern - Didn’t Suck!“
“The fourth star is out of sentiment for it's heyday which has passedIf you can get in it is a very unique, quite large multi lounged bar/private club with a separate pool table room, large rap around screened back porch and a Huge backyard lounge.Only downsides are that the dozen video games in what is now a still cool pool table lounge, the video games are gone.I'm also not sure of the fate of the huge second floor bar lounge and dancefloor.“
“A few updated options : shrimp tacos are actually really good , they give you 3 and they'll fill you up ! French onion: avoid , not good. The French onion isn't anything I would order here ever again, weak broth, skimpy on the cheese. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't good .. stick with the bat food!“

“I you are not getting wing here you should. I would say they are the best in the area. Great flavor and not too hot. I like a little hotter but will take flavor over heat.My only complaint is very minor. Cash only. I almost never have much cash on me. ( married with 2 teens) They do have an ATM so not a big deal.“

“We went with friends to hang out out before dinner and maybe some karoke. I was pretty surprise at how many really talented people were there singing. “This undiscovered, moderately-priced gem of an Italian restaurant on Bethlehem Pike in Flourtown is the real deal. It offers authentic, super-delicious food and an expansive selection—pasta, meat, seafood , vegetarian, you name it. The sauces could have been made by my Italian-born mother-in-law, yep, that good! The pasta was serve perfectly al dente, the claims must have just plucked from the sea! Sebastian our waiter was attentive and friendly. (We were the only patrons on a Thursday night!) Make your reservation ASAP. This place will catch on!“
“The Bar tenders know what they are doing. The margaritas are superb. “Just went to the Grill. Food was good. Clam chowder very rich as it should be. Asian salad a little heavy on the dressing but good. The Clothes Pin cocktail was ok but not exceptional; the st germain liquor was less evident than I'd hoped for. Coffee was good.Warning. While there is a ramp up to the door, the actual dining room is down a significant wide spiral stairs. There are railings so it us managable by someone with some mobility.Wheelchair accessibility: While there is a ramp up to the door, the actual dining room is down a significant wide spiral stairs. “Merriam-Websters collegiate dictionary defines hospitality as the following:": the activity or business of providing services to guests in hotels, restaurants, bars, etc."Hospitality is the bare minimum of what I received during the shift that Jessica and Kathleen worked. I would say the shift wasn't excellent, I would say it was perfect. I would say that this bar doesn't set the bar for service when these two work, I would say it is the measuring stick that the bar (on a limbo level) needs to be set at.Not only did the (beautiful by the way) bartenders make me feel welcome, they made me feel like family. I honestly couldn't imagine another place I'd rather be on a Monday night. Home? For what? A disappointing evening of marital stress and ultimate regret? I'd rather be here, at a place where like Norm, Sam and Diane in another town many years before established a repor where everybody truly knows your name. And it's not just the service. The food. The creative specials along with the iconic staples keep this bar hip and fresh. 20/10. Chef Alan kills it.But overall, this is the place you need to be. I'll probably come back. I'll probably bring a friend or two. But if I don't, I want my review etched in the halls of history long after we are all gone, this is the place to be. These are the people to see. They say to be the man you have to beat the man - find me a bar better, find me a bar that beats this place, and I'll try it.“

“Ordered a pizza for takeout. Pizza was not bad coming from a bar. It is a thin crust pizza with the right amount of cheese, soft and flaky. No seasoning on the pizza and the tomato sauce a little sweet. However, it is cooked perfectly with no burnt marks. Noticed they had Miller Light cans for $3.00. The pizza cost $10.00, which is good value.“

“Wings were ok. Ordered 50. 25 garlic parm and 25 Barbalo (bbq and hot sauce) they were great but the garlic parm were super dry at this location like a dry rub. Bensalem Currans wings are 1000% better. No celery either which is odd. Bartender Brian was great while we waited.“

“For a fast food seafood restaurant this place is legit good. The only thing I have tried I didn't like is the Mac n cheese. The fries and sweet potato fries are delicious. “Came in for lunch and sat at the bar. It's a pretty large restaurant. The bar side has a pool table. There's also an arcade for kids. We ordered wings, French dip, and pork belly tacos. All were delicious. The wings were huge, crispy, and the Sriracha chili sauce was awesome! Food came out quickly. The bartender was pleasant and attentive. The total bill for lunch with drinks was on par with other restaurants in the area. We'll be back when we're in the area again.“

“A wonderful 5-star lunch experience ! Coming back from a mid-day center city concert, decided to stop in @ Tavern On the Hill rather than MacNally's...SO glad we did ! Bartender Mackenzie couldn't have been better : super-efficient AND super-personable ! I've had many excellent meals here before, lunch and dinners, today was no exception. Straying from our regular menu favorites ( tough to pass on the always great burger or turkey'n' brie sandwich),we both had the same "special"...a smoked kielbasa/ kraut sandwich. Not an item I'd usually rave over, it was just perfect...the best I've ever had. Great kielbasa, nicely toasted roll, homemade-tasting kraut...and even a high-quality tasty brown mustard. You just won't go wrong here... where else would somebody rave about a kielbasa sandwich ??? Can't wait to return for lunch OR dinner...“

“For a place that's tucked away on the second floor of a nondescript-looking building in Olney, Cafe Liz is a hidden gem to find in Philly. I didn't know what to expect before going there, so I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Cafe Liz offers excellent food in a charming, intimate setting and the service there was amazing. Our table ordered a variety of appetizers to share, including shrimps with garlic sauce, Portuguese sausage, clams casino, and fried calamari. Out of these, the Portuguese sausage made the biggest impression on me with its (literally) flaming hot presentation and flavor. Granted that I haven't been to a Portuguese restaurant before, this has set a shiny standard of what I will expect of the same dish at the other establishments. Interestingly, the sausage also paired well with the shrimps in garlic sauce. The other appetizers were just blah to me compared to these. What stole the show during the pre-entree course, though, was their bread. For something that was provided for free, each loaf was such a delightful treat with its crunchy golden exterior and warm, soft center. I wouldn't mind eating a dozen of them in one sitting since they were that good. As for the main dish, I opted for their Paelha Valenciana which came with a mix of seafood along with chicken, sausage, and pork. This dish was fantastic, but their clams were a bit overcooked since they were a little hard to chew. I still loved everything else about it though. For dessert, their flan was silky and delicious. I loved that it wasn't overly sweet, so it served as a great finale to an equally great meal. Service-wise, we had a world-class gentleman who provided us with great care throughout the dinner. He was always attentive in replacing our dinnerwares and refilling our water efficiently. Our food also came out pretty quickly after we ordered them. I'm thrilled to find this place and I'd love to try out their other dishes next time.“

“Do not let the 3.0 star review discourage you from coming here! The vast majority of those negative reviews were from many years ago. Ott's has stepped up their game big time! The food is good and plentiful. Service is hometown standard with very attentive staff and ambiance is typical sports bar genre and noisy. Don't forget the pizza is made in a real pizza oven with the best of ingredients so enjoy your own concoction of toppings. Our favorite is the pork italiano with au jus that tastes great and fills the tummy. I'm not going with 5 stars but it's a 4+ place.“
“If you’re in the hatboro area and looking for a great bar with prices that won’t break the bank look no further. “Always welcoming each time I go there , and I have seen other customers receive the most best service as I have when visiting here with my friends, family, boyfriend. No matter what you are they are always making you feel comfortable with good music available to play on the jukebox, great food , cold drinks , and if there isn't a seat people will move down to squeeze you in at the bar. “I'm originally from Philly but live a couples hours away now. While coordinating renovations for my place of employment, I bonded with a contractor once I heard his accent and we got to talking about the city. After telling him I went to FKD High, he asked me if I like BBQ and he told me about Tin Pan Alley being owned by a FKD alum. He said he was a pretty regular customer and the BBQ was great. It immediately went on my 'Want To Go' list in Google Maps! After visiting some old friends in the city today, I had the opportunity to stop for dinner.It. Was. Amazing! We tried the rib eye cheesesteak (next time getting xtra meat and cheese), the roast beef sandwich, and the brisket fries. Everything was soooo good! I especially liked the white cherry pepper BBQ sauce. The hint of heat after your about 5 or 6 bites in, is unexpected, because your 5 or 6 bites in, but it was just right. Really delicious! The prices were good too.The waitress was great! Kind and helpful. Thank you again! I'll be back!We Are The Champions! ?? “
