The general manager is a too up-tight when they get busy. I couldn't tell if he was rude, or just couldn't take the pressure of a crowd. The main tasting room is nice, but the back room needs some work, and the constant buzzer ringing in the back is very annoying .
This is a beautiful scenic winery right next to a distillery so you can get the best of both worlds in one visit. The winery has a covered pavilion, a pond, a barn and rolling hills of vineyards. You can sample the wine or on a hot day try a wine slushy. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. There are plenty of wine varietals to choose from. While you are sampling wine, make sure to have Cody make you a charcuterie board to snack on. A perfect way to spend a lazy afternoon...
We stopped in and asked about getting a tour. They said that we should have called and scheduled a time, but a super nice gentleman took time off his busy schedule and showed us around the wineyard, giving us a shortened but nice & interesting tour. Thanks. Top notch hospitality!We also enjoyed tasting their wine & bought some.
