We didn't plan to stop on our way home from Pittsburgh, but we needed a break and a coffee. I’m glad we saw this place, checked the reviews, and decided to try it. I had the best French toast I've ever had. The pecan French toast was the flavor of the week, and it was amazingly delicious. I regretted only ordering half the order to share with my husband as “dessert,” because it was worth ordering a full portion and eating both without worrying about the calories. My main meal was Platter 1, a traditional American breakfast, but what made it even better were the homemade toasts and jam. Following our kind waitress's recommendation, my husband had Green Eggs and Ham, and it was truly exquisite. We loved this place not only for its mouthwatering food but also for its excellent service. We plan to take the same route next time we go to Pittsburgh so we can eat here again.

Walking in we smelled the delicious breakfast food. We wanted pancakes and French toast. They wrlere out of this world good. Thevserving size is huge. 1 pancakes for 1 person is more thrn enough. The bacon was cooked perfect. Butter pecan French toast was amazing. The fried potatoes...hmmm. Goodness all was incredible. The service was just as good. The environment is very comfortable.

Loved it! First eatery that had items available with a greens or reds option to their menu items. Their fried baked potato sidedish was very clever!

We have been there twice once for lunch which was excellent and once for breakfast. My only complaint which will keep me from going in morning is the cost of a cup of coffee. It was ridiculous priced, but the food was good

Foods was wonderful. The Tomato soup was the best I have in a long time. The creamed chicken w/ fries & gravy was great & very filling. Service was quick & great very friendly. The bakery was an added bonus. Wish we lived closer so we could visit more often.

One of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots. I love their breakfast Potatos. Bacon is thick and crispy. My wife loves their French toast
Don't leave here without going to the bakery/coffee shop on the other side. Get the peperoni rolls with the banana pepper rings! Also really amazing cinnamon rolls of many flavors that are in rotation.

The food is fresh, superbly prepared, and delicious! We had the giant pancake, a side of eggs, and the steak and veggie omelet w red potatoes that were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I could tell the potatoes were prepared fresh, not frozen, something I would drive miles to put in my belly! The omelet was filled w tons of shaved steak, peppers, onions and your choice of cheese, and it came w homemade thick cut toast or biscuits and homemade raspberry jam that was wonderful. My partner even put some of the jam on his pancake. Quick and friendly service was as good as the food. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, so plan accordingly. We’ll be back to try the fried chicken.
We were staying at a nearby lodging establishment known for their gorgeous views. However, I would get dressed and eat at Maywood Grille everyday over eating at the hotel.
Run, don’t walk to Maywood Grille! You won’t be disappointed.

Enjoyed a nice late lunch on a Thursday afternoon at Maywood prior to going to Fallingwater for a house tour. Have been here a couple of times before while in the area and always enjoy the food. This time was no exception. Ingredients are fresh and the homemade shoestring fries are great. There is a bakery, too, if you want a coffee or sweet treat to take out with you. Note that they are only open for breakfast and lunch. Service was friendly.
