Hands down one of my favorite places to eat! Only place I’ll eat a burger from unless it’s made at home! Such a friendly atmosphere and the food is always spot on! I can’t say enough about this place! 10/10 will always recommend!
My salad come with mostly wilted lettuce it was awful
The best fried chicken in the mountains!! And the best potato salad ever!! Great service and food!!!
Took over an hour to make two sandwiches due to "a new kid" who had been there 2 months. Ridiculous joke. Go to Subway.
Their fries are the best
Over 30 minutes for 1 bag of chips.
Not from the area, but went for chicken wings as two locals told us they were the best ever. Maybe this part of Pennsylvania enjoys their wings with more feathers than meat, but it was not for us. If we hadn’t ordered to go and noticed it when we got to our rental I would have asked for my money back.
We went for a sandwich, 45 minutes before closing, got refried French fries, and the nastiest steak sandwich in a long time. Had we not been super tired and hungry it would've been taken back. Threw it in the garbage and ate chips and snacks instead. This was at the Chalk Hill Pappy's. Won't ever go back, or recommend it.
Prices are outrageous. $15 for a 6-pack of Modelo
Great food great staff

Food was great and service was gr8, but they forgot the Ole Bay seasoning on my homemade chips.
I have visited this establishment several times in the past due to a local recommendation. The food has always been absolutely amazing. They've always had a great beer selection to choose from when enjoying your meal and there was always a nice variety of bottled non-alcoholic beverages. I don't know what happened, but I would not recommend eating here. There were several of us in our party and there weren't even enough non-alcoholic drinks for the entire table. The craft beer selection was almost non-existent - that wasn't a deal breaker. The FOOD, however, was a complete joke. They used to offer three sizes of subs and changed it to one size - fine. Most of what my family wanted to order was no longer available, so we didn't have much of a choice, so some of us ordered the fish sandwich. Boy, were they a HUGE disappointment. It was a small store bought fish patty placed on a huge bun!! (We've had this menu item here before, so we knew what to expect - a huge, delicious fish sandwich.) There were other menu items ordered and all anyone could say was, "the fries were good". Unfortunately, even the cook was very rude. Maybe because he kept repeating.... We don't have that. After our visit, I reached out to our friend who originally recommended Pappy's some time ago and he confirmed they went downhill (both locations). I don't know what happened, but unfortunately, I would no longer recommend Pappy's.
