“I'm a trucker that walked over here from across the big road getting lumber... Wasn't getting loaded till the next day, parking overnight and was hungry.... Glad I came here cuz the food was amazing.... Got a burger loaded and fries, plus a philly steak for later and a bottle of Sprite.... $22 for everything... Philly smells amazing and can't wait to dig into it later..... I'll definitely be coming back if I'm across the street again... Only open till 2pm though, so don't procrastinate...”

“Very welcoming, great music, and the locals are friendly. I had the rasta pasta very large portions, but the sauce was thin, and clear like. It didn't cover the portion well, and was not favorful and rich. Lacked the creamy cheesey jerk favor. Was a bit dry. Over all I enjoyed myself, and I doctored the food up at home the next day”

“If you are in a hurry, this is NOT the place to go. However, if you want authentic, DELICIOUS SOUL food, this IS the place! Fried fish and chicken are on point! The greens, yams, string beans and potato salad taste like grandmom's. If you go after two, you won't be able to get the potato salad. Just a heads up! There's only one waitress and she's a Senior so don't expect fast. Friendly, clean and family oriented.”

“Chester staple. I've never had a bad hoagie from Lee's and that's saying alot these days. They pack the meat on the bottom AND the top unlike some other weird hoagie shops. The regular sized hoagie is enough to feed two people.”

“The man who worked there was incredibly nice, gave me free samples while I waited and was obviously incredibly proud of what he does. He also was interested in me and what I did and where I was from.

The food itself is incredibly seasoned, very fresh, and some of the crispiest food I’ve ever eaten. It’s like eating homemade food it’s incredibly goo. I also really like that its prices are incredibly affordable.

Would recommend to everyone. The crown sauce is good!”

“The owner is a really nice guy. So is his wife. Since I live locally we've become very familiar with each other. Since its family owned it is a warm friendly place. They have everything from singular candies, to puppy chow, to hot cheese steak. Great place to go.”

“Well for starters I’ve been going to Fatim’s since they opened, I’m normally an Egusi & Fufu girly who doesn’t like to try it from anywhere other than K&Q’s in Darby however after trying Egusi from here I have yet to take that ride to Darby again. Very seasoned even my daughter loves it. Fatima gave me a sample of her potato greens, cassava leaf & her grilled wings even her puff puff balls during my first visit. I love this place I even pull up & say “Heyyyy Cousin” on days I’m not purchasing anything although we aren’t biologically related I feel the love of family when I go here! I’m happy I can save gas bc this location is local. Don’t listen to all the reviews stop in and give your own opinion!”

“Pulling up to this establishment, it seemed busy on a regular evening. The ordering space is a nicely decorated space but quite small. Good size portion sizes and everything was hot and fresh. The egg rolls were fresh and creamy;full of flavor. Comes with a side of sweet & sour. The front of the house seemed a bit overwhelmed.

In summary, this place is a hidden gem of Chester. Great flavor and everyone that was going in and out the place said nothing but good things. I will definitely go back.”

“Oh my goodness ... This was the best waterice. It was so tasty. I also got the cinnamon pretzel with the icing that was good. It was a nice treat. The $3 Thick water ice is a really good portion. I was very pleased with how flavorful it was . I would highly recommend this location for something sweet and reasonable.”

“An interesting establishment, Pren is tucked away from Chester's main street.\n\nThe place seems more like a converted home where the interior represents a basic, if not sterile, style although the high prices would indicate otherwise.\n\nAlthough the food is good, the dessert blew me away: Homemade strawberry ice cream with homemade whipped cream over a homemade brownie. Absolutely stellar.\n\nThe best part about Pren is the service. All servers work in concert to help customers. They're knowledgeable and kind and are the sole reason Pren has a four-star rating.”

“Beautiful Brunch location, if you have time to enjoy lunch or a day off its worth a visit. If you love fries, get the loaded fries and throw in a burger.

Its been a while since I've had buffalo shrimp this delicious and had to clean my plate even though I was feeling full with only half of the 6 piece and loaded fries accompanying. The iced tea hit the spot just right... and yes there is sea moss available.

Beautiful, comfortable and roomy. Everything is clean and spotless, and truly a place where you can relax for lunch on a hot day or a just want to eat out.

“Got a medium pizza pie and a double cheeseburger platter. Price was great. Pizza was actually good. I like my pizza saucy. This was a bit dry. Crust and cheese were good. The burger was a bit over cooked and dry but the toppings and condiments I asked for were there. I liked the fry’s and got a can of soda with the platter. Customer service was good. Over all I liked what I paid for and will go back again.”

“I loved my food! It was cooked fresh when we ordered, and was delicious -- and plentiful for the price. We were greeted warmly by the kind gentleman/chef. He showed us our platters when they were ready, so we could indicate exactly how much of each sauce we wanted. The falafel was nice and crispy on the outside, and seasoned beautifully. The rice was also delicious, and the salad was fresh. My partner equally enjoyed his chicken and rice platter. The interior of the truck (which is what matters) appeared very clean and well kept. This was our first visit, but based on our experience, it will not be our last! :)”

So the sweet potatoes, mac n cheese, chicken wings, breakfast, drinks, this special drink the owner’s daughter makes, it was all so delicious! But what makes this place unforgettable, is the staff, it’s clearly a family run restaurant with a family that treats you like one of their own. Plus, unlike a lot of places I ate at in the Philly area, they know how to season food! Oh! I almost forgot! The grits were so good, and also the cheese fries, but the owners son made the best onion rings and sauce I’ve ever had! Seriously such a hidden gem.”

I was told about this place by a coworker and decided to give them a try! The customer service, the freshly (on the spot) prepared meals, and the L.A. Taco Bistro signature sauce were all excellent. Be advised, with your food being prepared fresh to order, you will have a wait. My next time, I called ahead and my food was ready at pickup. I’d advise you to call ahead with your preferred pickup time. Their extensive menu will please the most discerning palate! Bon Apetité!”
