In the last two times I’ve visited, the staff employees have directly and intentionally closed early with no formal notice. It seems they’re lazy and don’t keep the store open too long, which would be understandable in the wintery times. I wouldn’t expect this in the middle of the summer season. They’re short on communication, and overall give bad service with an immature look on the brand. Amazing water ice though!

Big Vars Water Ice is THE BEST water ice I have ever tasted! I visited here for the first time 2 weeks ago and had a pistachio gelato it was AMAZING! They have a very diverse menu also! I will definitely visit here again!

Big Var is finally in Wilmington,De on Market street now I don't have to travel to Sam's and Sam's for his water ice or up the street from Sam's and Sam's everything here is wonderful they also have plenty of party favors and Water slides and Moon bounces for your parties and they are very reasonable We have been using them for the last 3 years for my granddaughter birthday party also they come on time to set up and are very professional ,pleasant and friendly with Great Customer service.Thanks Big Var for you service in Wilmington,De you deserve it

I’ve been here many time and I love them, amazing flavors, and the owner is very nice. But when they say open online it’s closed when we get there. This is not the first time this has either.
Water ice was delicious but we waited in a not so long line for about 45 minutes as they seemed more interested in their phones then serving customers…. Missed a good chunk of Radwood just waiting in line for a cold snack on a hot day

Big Var Ice is a success story in Chester, the variety of Water ice , and pretzels make the summertime in Chester a better place. Big Var makes it very easy to enjoy water ice & pretzels with out breaking the bank. You go !
