I have not been to the Upland Diner in such a long time ...and now I can only ask myself why? A hidden gem, the best of the best!! From the moment I walked in the door I felt like family, the staff went out of their way to exceed my expectations. I had the Hungry Man breakfast, which was more than enough for a meal with leftovers! And you can't beat the prices!!

I had a great experience at upland diner this morning! My breakfast was absolutely delicious! My food was nice and hot and I couldn't believe how big the portions were. Props to the cooks. My waitress was so nice and attentive! If you love diner food and the friendly diner atmosphere then you definitely want to come to upland diner.

I’ve been going to this diner for as long as I can remember, and it’s always been a great experience until today. Unfortunately, this will probably be my last visit because of the complete incompetence of the person taking orders.
To start, when I called to place my order, she put me on hold and then hung up on me. When I called back, I tried to order something very simple: a scrambled egg, cheese and bacon on white toast as a platter with home fries and onions, plus an additional scrambled egg, bacon and cheese on wheat toast, just a sandwich. Somehow, this was “too complicated” for her to process over the phone.
So I decided to come in person, thinking it would be easier face-to-face. Standing right in front of her, she still somehow couldn’t get the order correct. I left, frustrated, and tried to call again later only to be placed on hold and hung up on again.
After years of loyal visits, today was the final straw. It’s sad to say, but I will never step foot in this diner again.

Food is so tasty, menu isn’t overwhelming with choices, all the diner greatest hits, including “real veal” cutlet and this fantastic raisin cinnamon bun French toast, scrapple cooked to perfection, and fresh brewed coffee at 2pm. Warm, welcoming decor and friendly vibe. Lots of unique everyday specials like tacos and Asian chicken soup. Hidden gem. And added bonus on my first visit…. Phillies game was on!!!
