So disappointed!!! I went here to try Everybody Eats, however, it wasn’t open. Decided to try Ray’s Diner. Top notch customer service but I shouldn’t have bought any food. I ordered fried shrimp, greens, Mac & cheese, potato salad and sweet potatoes. While waiting, I was offered something to drink which was nice. They were out of Mac & cheese so I was given string beans and rice, not offered just given. The shrimp were a little over cooked and the sides were a waste. All of them. Greens smelled genuinely fishy so I’m guessing they were not fresh. All the rest were definitely not fresh. I would not have sold that to anyone nor would I give it away. The service was great. Server was extremely kind. I can’t go back but will pray for their success.

I went to this place because the Google reviews were good. One of the reviewers said the salmon steak was good . Go when I go in the lady behind the counter immediately lets me no there no chicken. I said okay do you have salmon steaks she scrunches up her face like huh so I scrucked up my face she asked why you do that with you face I said because you did it with you face . This was was first time there how am I supposed to know the menu? I was trying to support a black business. Her facial expression and attitude was horrible . Customer service education is deeply needed or maybe that’s what people have become use to . I don’t care how good the food may be I value customer service. A hello may I help you would have been suffice .

I came here on the grand opening day & a few times since and I must say...If I could leave TEN stars, I would. Courteous staff, excellent service and fresh, hot seafood. I will be returning over and over again. (If you like fried shrimp as much as I do: don't think twice. It's glorious.)
