Al's is my first ice cream shop since moving to Pittsburgh and no reason to go anywhere else! We started off with a couple of great, juicy hotdogs! My sundae was so large, I guess because of it's deliciousness it was easy to finish! The flavor and the portion sure beats where I came from. Wonderful people! Amazing Ice Cream at dirt cheap! One medium Cone is $3.57 and is as big as a large at other places! 10/10 Must Visit. Also Cookie sandwich is huge with fresh made cookies! Amazing!

Al’s Cone Zone sets itself apart by the HUGE cones served! Even a small is the size of a regular place’s large! The establishment cannot be missed with the building’s bright turquoise color and fun ice cream art. Besides their gigantic ice cream cones, they are also known for their Dole Whips! Different flavors at different times so you have a chance to try throughout the year. This is a take out establishment. Seating under umbrellas was available in a pretty flower lined setting. No restrooms. Wheelchair accessible parking lot and entrance. Credit cards accepted. Quick visit, amazing taste and sizes! Worth the stop!

Sad to saw I don’t have any pictures but holy moly the servings are humongous. We ordered smalls and couldn’t finish them. Excellent ice cream. My wife the dole whip. The staff is very friendly and the service is quick. These guys really know what they are doing and take good care of you. Highly recommend!

This place NEVER disappoints! Very seldom can you say that about a business. Their employees are always kind, efficient, they have great prices and very generous servings. I don’t know how anyone can eat a cone size above a small-they’re gigantic! Great job yinz.

I don't like the texture of the ice cream. That's just me personally. Their large cone is so huge can't finish it. But the place is always busy in the summer.
