One of the best places to eat in the little small town of East freedom. They're closed Mondays but so busy the rest of the week. I've never had a bad experience at this place family owned good good great atmosphere.

It’s not a bad place. Food was good, decently priced. Nothing to write home about but it seems that you’d better tell your waitress everything at once bc you’re not gonna see her much (it’s normal in this town just not what I’m used to).

Being a native of Claysburg, this is my favorite sit-down restaurant because the food is excellent and homestyle cooking. However, I recently went back to town to visit a female friend and we ate at Peggy's, and the elderly waitress on a Thursday evening was rather condescending toward me. Not sure what her issue with me was but the waitress can keep her unwelcome sarcasm to herself. I'm not there to deal with that.
