“Went here with some locals, they had been before. The place didn't look like much on the outside, but it looked fine inside. The food was very good, the onion rings would have been great, but they were a little overcooked (crunchy). The cheesesteak was great. Will likely be back.”

Friendly regulars, courteous tenders, and it's right off the main highway.Add to it a monthly stop by Bodies in Motion, and it makes for one helluva fun Saturday night.Draughts on tap aren't expensive, there's food available, and the jukebox has a decent sound system attached to it.It's worth visiting for a beer and some entertainment.”

“I LOVE your chocolate oatmeal, no-bake cookies. These are the only store-bought cookies like these that I've tried that taste homemade! Because they taste so fresh, I assumed you were local until I looked and saw your label that said PA.They are delivered at a small store in Huntingdon, TN and seem to go quickly!”

“Only game in town (on top of the mountain), but I went twice because the people are friendly and food reliable and cost was reasonable. “My favorite restaurant in Central PA! I love trying all of the fresh, seasonal dishes and soups at Mayfield when I'm in town visiting family. They have a great variety of sandwiches and salads for lunch and truly something for everyone (including lots of options for vegetarians like myself). During my most recent visit for lunch, I had a grilled sandwich with fresh mozzarella and tomato and the purple potato soup special and they were both so so good. I've been craving the purple potato soup ever since! The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the renovated restaurant has a great funky/vintage vibe that honors the extensive history of the Capitol Hotel. I really couldn't recommend it more!”

“Live Music & Drinks!!! This was our first time stopping at our local brewery! I'll start out with the staff... they are AMAZING!!! Super nice, let us do some samples of their beers and their drink "Cherry St." Was my absolute favorite made with their cream soda. We didn't get to try any food, so that will be added to my next review when we stop. Atmosphere was iconic, lights, crush velvet walls, barrel high tops, old brick & stone walls... loved it all! I even bought a hoodie to help support this small town dream come true! Can't wait for warmer weather when they open up the patio area at night...looks so glam! The gentleman singing did an awesome job...great voice!!”
