“Mrs. Groves did an amazing job on a cinnamon roll cake for my dad’s 70th birthday. Everyone enjoyed the soft cinnamon rolls and mountains of frosting, of course. Easy to order with a quick phone call, great price, and the ladies working were so sweet.”

“We have been going here for years, great food.. and the owners are really friendly.. Food is always fresh... People complain about their food at times,,, but you have to realize.. you need to get to the restaurant when the food is fresh, at regular business hours.. You can't go in late and expect them to have fresh food... Especially close to closing time!! You get the entire buffet,, that also includes the drink with the price.. You don't get that anywhere else.... Its a smaller buffet,,, and they have great prices!!!! We are regulars there,,, and we will continue to be!!!! Check them out!!! :)”

“As a former Hoss’s employee, I enjoy going to different locations and seeing how they look. I love how small the salad bar is but full of everything. I love how neat everything is at the salad bar. I recently just went and I think having 3 loaves of garlic bread is absurd because they get cold easily, but I understand that they were anticipating a party. The rolls were a tad too cold, but it was later in the evening so we’d just let food run its course. Especially the apple crisp, it was so good but too little of it, but still delicious nonetheless! The mac n cheese gets cold quickly so eat it fast! Delicious creamy texture.

Jen was our server and she did such a splendid job! Understood everything we asked for, and was on time with things we needed. Even waited until closer to the time we left to have someone cook our steaks because she didn’t want them getting cold! That’s true HOSSpitality right there.”

“For all those who write negative reviews about this place, try getting food from the Plank Road location sometime.. this location, in my experience, is probably the best location you can get McDonald's in a 5-mile radius. Sometimes the food won't look picture perfect. It's McDonald's, not a gourmet restaurant. But I have had no problems with this location. The order is always right, the food tastes decent, and despite me ordering delivery from this location, I've heard many good things about this location, such as friendly customer service compared to the Plank Road and Downtown Altoona locations, cleanliness is on point, as well as many other things. So yeah, if you want McDonald's without having to worry about all the chaos from the other 2 locations, come to this location for a pleasant experience :)”
