“Very nice looking establishment inside, reminds me of an old brewery with all the stone and brick. Beer was very good , food was limited menu, not sure why ? , but was good . Service was very good , a little pricey for the beer in this area”
“Food is good. Service is excellent. Upper scale restaurant for those willing to spend or having a special occasion that you want to celebrate. Remind me of Steven's Steak & Seafood House in City of Commerce in California where I used to go to the monthly IAPMO meeting there.”
“That was some good pizza. I haven't had the opportunity to have a pizza like this in a decade. And this pizza was good. Maybe I'll have a reason to visit this town again.”
“I only have 3 stars because I never go into Arby's but I never hear or smell anything bad coming from inside. Other than that, staff is top-notch and management actually listens.”
“This is my favorite subway!!! Very clean and swift. Workers are very friendly. Some subways I get grossed out because isn't cleaned to notch and that's important to me.”
“Cashier Sincere is the nicest, friendly cashier that has ever waited on me at Roaring Spring Giant Eagle, some of the other cashiers need to learn manners from him. Keep up the great work I Sincere, I will look for you every time I'm there, I will even wait in line to be treated nicely!”
“I ordered their Muffuletta Pizza with the cauliflower crust. Perfect! I order cauliflower crust typically and find some places undercook...but this was nice crispy and thin! Service was great from ordering on the phone to the smile I was met with at the door. Very happy.”
“The staff here is personable, friendly and committed to making sure your experience is a pleasant one. We ordered a hot sandwich and tried the wings. The quality of meats, vegetables and bread was top notch. The wings were deep fried and the sauces were then baked into skin. The flavors were magnificent and everything was cooked to perfection. Thank you for a great take out meal!”

“Probably my favorite coffee shop in the Cove! Beautiful inside, laid-back atmosphere with plenty of comfy seating options. Coffee is always rich and delicious. I love to stop in for a quick drink when I'm home!”
“A family favorite going back to the 50s when my in-laws were kids. Always try to stop here on the way home from Western PA. The soft serve is excellent, the flavors of the day are good. Great 50s "sock-hop" ”
“This is a delightful little coffee shop with awesome seasonal drinks and even more than one matcha drink option! GPS take you onto Juniata and they do have entrances there, but they also have a higher level with accessible parking in the back.”

“An elegant dining experience while keeping with the essence of the historic Capital Hotel. Staff was very friendly and cordial. Our waitress went out of her way to guide me through some gluten free options. I took the sriracha burger special and it was excellent. My wife and cousin had a scallop entree that was delicious. If you’re looking to upscale your dining experience here’s the place to go.”
“Wow! Look at this sundae! It was amazing. The young man working this afternoon was very friendly and gave us a little history on the town. We appreciated the conversation and enjoyed the ice cream very much.”
“It's an awesome place to meet people and have a good timeParking: Depending on how many people are thereWheelchair accessibility: Yes it's wheelchair accessible”
“I Tried this place for the first time the other day and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza is delicious. Lots of sauce which we all really liked. I highly recommend the old bay rubbed wings.”
“From the outside this place doesn't look like much. Plenty of parking but looks a bit like someone opened a bar in their house. Going inside, the decor is very neighborhood bar. It is roomy and fairly well lit. Wasn't too sure about the place at that point, but we were quickly and warmly greeted by the girl behind the bar and asked to sit where we liked. We were brought menus and our drink orders were taken right away. When Peyton (our server) returned with our drinks she filled us in on the daily specials and cheerfully gave us time to decide what we wanted. The food choices were actually surprisingly varied. There's standard bar fare but other choices too, including soups, salads, dinners, sandwiches, wings, apps and more. My wife ordered some cheese fries and a Philly Cheese steak, I ordered some Mac n cheese along with their bruschetta beef sandwich and my Mom ordered the soup and salad comprised of a ham and cheese sandwich and the chili. Before long, the cheese fries came out. My wife usually is not a big fan of steak fries, but these were perfectly done. Golden brown, crispy and delicious on the outside, soft and hot on the inside and nicely bathed, but not drowned, in a decent quality cheese sauce. We enjoyed the fries until our sandwiches arrived. My wife's cheese steak was very large. Plenty of properly cooked, well-seasoned meat and cheese on a gently toasted roll. My bruschetta beef sandwich was nearly as large. Tender, seasoned beef under tangy, tomatoey bruschetta topping on a toasted roll slathered with pesto mayonnaise. It was delicious and original. My Mom's chili was flavorful and well seasoned but not hot. She had plenty of fresh ham and cheese topped with crispy green lettuce and tomato again on some really nice Italian bread. The portions were very good, none of us finished our sandwiches, though they were delicious and we all took some home. The Mac and cheese I had on the side was really nice as well. It was neither dry nor over sauced. Made me think of pasta Alfredo and Mac n cheese having a love child. Warm and comforting, creamy with a hint of garlic. I enjoyed it very much.If you're looking for haute cuisine or a fine dining experience, this is not it. But, if you want great service (Peyton was wonderful), good portions, reasonable prices and really well made food this place is a diamond in the rough. Highly recommend, will definitely go back.”
“Gem of a pizza place, all fresh made and focused on pizza and stromboli. Square cuts, super cheap, to go. Always made fresh, something about this pizza, you just keep coming back and he is very friendly and brings it right out to you after he makes it up. Love the place.”
“This place was a great addition to our Hollidaysburg pub tour. We had a really nice server, and a joyful evening. The prices were good. Beer selection was average for this area. we may go back in the future.Parking: It was GREAT and plentiful.”
“Had an AWESOME dinner, service spot on with Kierra, the chef was attentive he kept looking out as food went out, which good chefs ALWAYS do that! Check it out folks!”
“This hidden gem has by far the best pizza in the Altoona area!I usually take pictures of the food I evaluate for this Google app users. But this time, the pizza was so good that I forgot all about taking pictures.Thank you, Jason!”
“Continue to be very pleased with this establishment. The main purpose for my review is to share how much I love how they prepare their buffalo chicken sub...they shred the chicken so it soaks up all the hot sauce goodness. I also love their cheesesteaks and salads as well, and the waffle fries (YUM!). Don't forget about the baked desserts, always something to enjoy.”
“We went through the drive through. The pizza ? was so good. Just what we were hungry for. But it is fast food and they had us go through the drive through again to let others in front of us? We just ordered pizza. But it was worth it.”
“Maddie Cakes exceeded all expectations with our wedding cake, cupcakes and custom cookies! They were so easy to work with and everything was SO delicious too! Highly recommend.”
