“On the upside: the beer menu is extensive, wings are delicious and space is nice. On the downside: fries could be more fresh and service just a tidbit more attentive. The brick burger did took some time (as indicated in the menu) but was nice. The wings were splendid.”

“Not a bad small bar in a small town, they got a pool table. Skills machines. And a juke box. Many choices of alcohol, the most I've ever seen at a bar, they only thing is if you're not a smoker there's no ventilation for the smoke it gets really smoky in there and you will go home smelling like an ashtray?”

“The service was quick and the line for the drive thru was short. The employees were nice. Just would be great if they had better deals at times with the prices being up on everything. They should get more deals on the meals. With what I all got and it was for 3 people I spent 50.00. That was alot cuz they didn't have any deals with what we were wanting.”

“The Hood made his way to Ebensburg PA and found this fantastic place!!! Actually The Hood was here before many years ago. However the changes they made has made the atmosphere here awesome! The food was delicious from before and now is just as delicious. Compliments to the chef!! He is fantastic and his food incredibly delicious! Our service was incredible. She was very prompt with our drinks and our food! If The Hood could give a 10 I would for this place. You know what The Hood will give them a 10!! They make you feel welcomed! “First time my husband and I was there. Our granddaughter suggested it she loves their food. She is an EMT with Ebensburg. Had the beef taco it was great. My husband had their special hamburger said it was delicious. Will definitely go to this place again.”

“This is my go to ice cream place for sure! They have so many choices to choose from. One of my favorites is probably the (Philadelphia water ice) it is has i think 6 flavors or more, and the texture is so unique. An other thing I really like is the upside down banana split. The portion size for it is amazing, one person could not eat all of it at one time that's how huge it is, but over all I would definitely recommend this place!”

“This place feels like Aladdin's' Cave the minute you walk in the door. The owners filled the building of the former Schoenfeld's department store with their own antiques and collectables while keeping the inside of the store intact. Unfortunably, lunch is not available any more, but there is a coffee bar with baked goods and an ice cream parlor featuring many delicious flavors. The prices for the items on sale are extremely reasonable. It's easy to see that running this place is a labor of love for the owners and not just a way to make a fast buck. Will definitely return!”

“What a fantastic experience! We live locally (I grew up in Lilly) and have heard great things about The Boxcar. Today my mom and I went for lunch. The railroad theme was perfect inside. I got a Turkey Club sandwich/fries and my mom got a Pizza (Ham)burger/fries. The Turkey wasn't just thin deli turkey, it was thick and delicious. The bacon was perfectly cooked and there was a bacon aioli that was delicious. The fries were great, fresh cut and cooked perfectly. My mom loved the pizza burger. Our service was excellent also. We'll definitely be coming back, the menu was huge, lots more choices we could've had. I highly recommend coming here, everything was excellent!Parking: Parking right across the street”

“This is a very small and a little run-down place, but my husband and I loved it. We have only gone two times so far, but did not have a bad experience either time. The first time was just my husband and I. The waitress recommended the Buffalo chicken fries, so we got them. We each got a burger (which they get locally), and since they come Ala cart, we figured why not. These fries came out on a huge platter smothered in chicken, cheese, and so much gooey goodness. They were AWESOME! We could not finish since we also ordered breaded mushrooms and cheese curds as well. No idea there would be so many fries. They are very good reheated too...surprising for fries. The burgers were also excellent. Fresh made patties, not frozen. This place is definitely a hidden gem. We took my son this past weekend, and he loved it as well.”

“I am very picky about my pizza. This pizza is very good, not the best, but very good. We got two small pizzas, and I would have called them medium at a small price. I could only eat half of mine. Bacon, sausage and black olives, and lots of them. Maybe the most I have ever seen. They delivered to us on the back deck of the Tunnel Inn. Delivery was prompt, friendly and everything was just as ordered. We will definitely order from them again.”

“Best Way Pizza is a franchise pizza chain, so you can expect everyone to be slightly different, I only have one complaint in regards to the fries. As you can see in the picture there is a "basket" of fries, which they charge $5 dollars for, many other places would charge you less, or they would give you a much larger portion. Aside from that this is a very clean and recently renovated location.”

“Had a wonderful time attending an overdue family reunion! The water was beautiful and calming and made a peaceful background for photos.I especially liked the fact I got to pet 2 goats, Arlo and Ramses, as they were extremely well behaved. “Friendly place on the mountain that doesn't make you feel like an "outsider". Not far from the lake! Good drink selections and reasonable prices for the portions of food. Has ATM inside & 2 smoke areas outside(not enclosed). Parking space availability varies depending how packed it gets. Has handicapped spaces & ramp too. We will be back for sure!”

“Here's the secret to amicis...They make homemade donuts. Not only do they give you the donut but they give you the donut hole as well..Their entrees are phenomenal..and the service is kind and fast. Not to mention the beautiful view of downtown and it's surrounding areas.”
