“On the upside: the beer menu is extensive, wings are delicious and space is nice. On the downside: fries could be more fresh and service just a tidbit more attentive. The brick burger did took some time (as indicated in the menu) but was nice. The wings were splendid.”

“We ate here when we were passing through. To say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement. The food was fantastic and our waitress was amazing. We clearly wandered in just as some kind of major event was kicking off. In spite of that, the service was swift and accurate, and the manager/owner even wandered by to make sure our meal as good (it was). Everything from the appetizer to dessert was great. Unfortunately, we aren't likely to be back in that area, but if we are, we're eating here again.”

“This is my go to ice cream place for sure! They have so many choices to choose from. One of my favorites is probably the (Philadelphia water ice) it is has i think 6 flavors or more, and the texture is so unique. An other thing I really like is the upside down banana split. The portion size for it is amazing, one person could not eat all of it at one time that's how huge it is, but over all I would definitely recommend this place!”

“I've done both dine in and takeout at Vito's. The staff are always cordial and the service is great. I always gauge pizza quality by plain slices. Vito's is always a 9+........Sauce is a 10 and crust is an 8.5. I prefer slices over whole pizzas as the crust is more done and crispy on re-heats. I've also had pasta and sandwiches here as well and they were great. Currently my favorite pizzeria is Western PA.”

“Forget Hub caps, Forget pirates cove, forget any pizza place in the 25 square miles from this place. This place makes the best pizza around hands down. But the cheesy bread, I swear you'll be going through rehab to get off of it its so dang delicious. “What a fantastic experience! We live locally (I grew up in Lilly) and have heard great things about The Boxcar. Today my mom and I went for lunch. The railroad theme was perfect inside. I got a Turkey Club sandwich/fries and my mom got a Pizza (Ham)burger/fries. The Turkey wasn't just thin deli turkey, it was thick and delicious. The bacon was perfectly cooked and there was a bacon aioli that was delicious. The fries were great, fresh cut and cooked perfectly. My mom loved the pizza burger. Our service was excellent also. We'll definitely be coming back, the menu was huge, lots more choices we could've had. I highly recommend coming here, everything was excellent!Parking: Parking right across the street”

“Was there a while back for the Johnstown Thunder in the valley had to much fun here that we forgot to leave then went to Johnstown the next day. Ended up coming back to Shovel Heads for our return back to Forrest County.”

“Best Way Pizza is a franchise pizza chain, so you can expect everyone to be slightly different, I only have one complaint in regards to the fries. As you can see in the picture there is a "basket" of fries, which they charge $5 dollars for, many other places would charge you less, or they would give you a much larger portion. Aside from that this is a very clean and recently renovated location.”

“This is a very small and a little run-down place, but my husband and I loved it. We have only gone two times so far, but did not have a bad experience either time. The first time was just my husband and I. The waitress recommended the Buffalo chicken fries, so we got them. We each got a burger (which they get locally), and since they come Ala cart, we figured why not. These fries came out on a huge platter smothered in chicken, cheese, and so much gooey goodness. They were AWESOME! We could not finish since we also ordered breaded mushrooms and cheese curds as well. No idea there would be so many fries. They are very good reheated too...surprising for fries. The burgers were also excellent. Fresh made patties, not frozen. This place is definitely a hidden gem. We took my son this past weekend, and he loved it as well.”

“We have been eating at hoss's for years, with a good variety of food and children under 5 eating free. The many restaurants have been a life saver for even our picky children as we have been moving. This hoss's in ebensburg is one of the most clean and organized ones of the franchise we have visited. We hosted our sons third birthday there last night in the free banquet room and they were more than accommodating, the waitress was friendly and attentive to our group and even brought our son a birthday cupcake and sang to him.Will be stopping at this in the future for sure as we travel between Pittsburgh and home. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Kids under 5 eat free from a full stock soup and salad bar, which helps with picky eaters. They always offer coloring pages and a child friendly menu and go out of their way to provide a good family environment.”

“Absolutely love this place they still have everything plastic or boarded up due to covid but it's carry out only call ahead. They send coupons through text message. Food is always good never disappointed the food comes in big portions.”

“Very nice place right in downtown Portage on main, there is plenty of parking in the back as well as some select spots in front and across the street. The atmosphere is awesome and great for a large group or for yourself at the bar. The food and drinks are priced right and have plenty of flavor and everyone that I've delt with has been cheerful and pleasant. There is live music sometimes and also comedy shows. “One of the best Strombolis in Central PA if not the best. I get the Italian Stromboli every time I'm there and it never disappoints. Really big for a "small" and great price. A small will easily feed 2 people. Take out or eat in its always awesome Boli!”

The water was beautiful and calming and made a peaceful background for photos.I especially liked the fact I got to pet 2 goats, Arlo and Ramses, as they were extremely well behaved.
