Good place for breakfast on the road to DC. Very popular place. The food was good unfortunately it came out cold. The waitress was very friendly. The place felt like a scene out of the Gilmore Girls.

Came in today June 6 for lunch. First time in area. Ordered the strawberry lemonade,baked italian hoagie,and got a side of macaroni salad. The drink and food was amazing. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. Never tasted anything as good. I got strawberry cheese cake for desert and it was also to die for. If you haven't eaten here yet I highly recommend you do. Main St Cafe Claysville.

Just want to shout out about our dinner…definitely a five star meal!
We had a to go order yesterday the Special was Harvest Pork Chops, Red Potatoes, & Green Bean Casserole and dessert (of course)..
Those pork chops were so tender
the potatoes & green bean casserole was amazing..homemade dessert!
The staff in the cafe were so friendly!

Greek salad and strawberry salad were just great. Any fancy place in a big city would not make it any better. Place is clean and it don’t take long to make the food.
This place has ridiculously reasonable prices! The restrooms here are also spotlessly clean.
Keep in mind that mealtimes are not flexible. Dinner starts at 4:30pm sharp, etc. I wanted a cheesesteak sub; the waitress explained they “ran out of cheesesteak meat.” I ordered a medium-rare hamburger; it arrived well-done. The chili I had ordered with provolone; it came to the table with cheddar.
Despite these shortcomings, the burger and chili were flavorful. I’d still recommend eating here since all of Main Street’s food is prepared from scratch. This is a cozy, well-decorated small town cafe where all the patrons seem to know each other.

I think I'm just spoiled with my Good NJ food but the breakfast here was absolutely terrible. I was surprised after seeing such good reviews. Never had French toast on a baguette roll before. Breakfast potatos were actual potatos and my husbands had sugar on it? Wierd.Anyways, if your into that kinda stuff then this is the place for youWaitress was nice. thats about it.

One person in our party commented on the fruit pancakes, how they were loaded with berries. Another person stated the iced tea hit the spot. Only one take out box was used as the breakfast pancakes, sandwiches, egg plates, and muffins were all consumed.
