“It's inside the Reading Terminal Market. Eat in or take away. There were several stools when I chose them for lunch, from all the options there. They have chicken, and lamb/beef combo roasting in front of you, they cut your sandwich from. Fresh tomato and onion bits inside a Pita. There is a white sauce, which I didn't have. Sandwich can come with fries and coke for under $15. I got a smaller portion of fries. All fresh and tasty. service was attentive and speedy. Very pleased with my visit.“

“I traveled from Ann arbor for the weekend and wanted to visit Lourdas. I hadn't been there for years but it is as lovely and inviting as it was years ago. We had grilled Octopus salad and soupa avgolemono. Then we had shrimp Lourdas and lamb chops. They were both delectable. We took baklava and galactobureko home for dessert. The staff were attentive and patient and the other patrons seemed to be regulars with a few newbies here and there. I can't wait to go back!!“

“Needed a quick lunch and craving some hummus and pita so Yiro Yiro delivered exactly what I wanted. I got the beef/lamb plate that came with rice, a choice of sauce, and some cucumber/tomato/feta salad. I also got the spanakopita, my boyfriend got a gyro and hummus. Everything was very flavorful, fresh, and delicious. Even the homemade lemonade was great, not too sour or sweet. Yiro Yiro is now in my regular rotation for good Manyunk Eats.“

“We ordered the spanakopita and galatopita for Christmas and both pies were outstanding. The spanakopita was robust and flavorful. It was full without being soggy, and was very generous with feta. The galatopita had a perfect custard texture and was delicately sweet. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu and would highly recommend for any family gathering. Thank you so much!“

“Authentic flavors and great atmosphere“

“I was craving hummus so I popped in for a late night bite. I was going to get the hummus appetizer, but opted for the grilled chicken plate with a side of hummus instead. I’m glad I did because the hummus and pita was a disappointment – the hummus was a weird texture (not smooth and creamy) and the pita had a strange, artificial smell and taste (most authentic Greek restaurants make their pitas in-house, but this was clearly shipped in from a restaurant supplier). The saving grace was that the grilled chicken, roasted potatoes, and green beans were very tasty. Portions were ample. 4/5

As for service, the young lady who took my order was friendly and helpful, the manager on-duty acted annoyed and bothered when I interacted with him. 3/5“

“I came in at the end of a run and had a tough time choosing- everything looked super fresh and delicious. It’s rare to find homestyle, healthy food, and Greek!

I had a bowl with chicken, potatoes, veg, whipped feta, and took a pastry and frappe to go.

The people were super nice, and indoor and outdoor dining space bright and clean.
