Service was alittle slow at first but let me tell you the quality of the food and portion size well made up for it . Will be back .
We had a club sandwich and a bacon cheeseburger both with real French Fries. Both sandwiches were huge with an abundance of fresh quality meats and cheeses. Whew! The girls are as nice as can be, too!
We stopped in for a late lunch, service was friendly, the food was hot and fresh can't wait to come back for the ice cream
We just had a last minute late lunch here at Lu-Lou’s! Thanks to Google for listing this restaurant. The pepperoni rolls were delicious along with the marinara sauce. I also enjoyed the Joe Joe roast beef sandwich. Our waitress was kind, efficient, and helpful with informing us of size portions for the kids.
Amazing food and service
Fantastic food and great value. The server was friendly. We got the BLT, chicken dinner, pepperoni rolls, and salad. The pepperoni rolls were especially good as were the fries. This was our first visit as we were out to Raccoon State Park, but we would come back regularly if it wasn't so far. I want to try the roast beef next visit.
Great place to dine, farmhouse atmosphere, seasonal porch for dining, menu does depend on time of day but everything was fresh and amazing! We came on holiday and the place was packed but we had friendly service.
Great homestyle food and service.

Consistently good service and friendly staff. Food is good, food quality is consistent yet not bad by any means. I like getting the breakfast sausage links, with eggs, and rye bread which is always pretty tasty. They seem to source their food locally. Ah, and salads are big and filling. Never thought I would recommend a salad 😜. Worth a stop if you're a regular or just passing through. It's not a luxury experience, though the place is going to be updated shortly. I miss the red barn exterior, it was more appealing, more inviting, and it used to look more like a restaurant versus the recent black 'makeover'. Go back to the 'classic look' and hire more staff, they will come. The bathrooms are also lacking, hence why the place is not 4 stars for atmosphere. It's high traffic, the men's bathroom at least looks gross most of the time. You'll come back for the staff, yet yearn more for the food that'll leave you stuffed. Enjoy.

This place offered some delicious comfort foods after a long day of hiking at Raccoon Creek!
Our server - Kenidi - was polite but failed to make us aware of the specials. I inquired about an item that was on someone's table but not on the menu and was informed that it was today's special. I ordered it, so definitely would have been nice to know upon being seated.
The smoked wings were juicy, tender and full of flavor. The hot roast turkey sandwich was everything I hoped it would be! I wish my plate had been served with more mashed potatoes, but the turkey and gravy were very well prepared. I rarely order soda with dinner, but this time I ordered Cherry Pepsi and its sweet fizzines paired well with my meal.
Thought about having ice cream for dessert, but they were closing up the containers and turning off the case lights at 535pm. Also didn't ask if we were interested in ordering, even though we were both looking at the flavors.
The decor is unique. Just focus on how delicious the food is and you'll walk away smiling!
