While Josie's has been a staple for me and my husband for years, after Sunday our likelihood of returning is near to none.
WARNING. make sure you bring cash or a dedicated credit card. They no longer accept debit cards.
I found out only after making a food order, arriving, and then being told the new policy. There were NO SIGNS. NOONE TOLD ME ON THE PHONE. NOONE TOLD US THE DAY BEFORE THAT THE POLICY WAS COMING.
I had No issue in paying for my food. I had money in my bank account. I would have had cash on hand IF I HAD KNOWN.
They oh so conveniently now have an ATM on site, with a $2.50 surcharge to withdraw cash. Which is extra funds into the business. (edit here, I am not completely sure Josies is gaining funds from the ATM. Timing though is very suspect from my view).
This was a bait and switch. and illegal. (THERE reason I said it was a bait and switch is due to it not being disclosed before I had arrived, over the phone, nor the day before when I had bought breakfast)

Service for 20 was great to celebrate our 25th Anniversary! Everyone enjoyed their meals, server was fantastic, kept up with refills and never missed a beat. Food came out quickly and served hot. Only wish we had room for dessert.

Quiet...Quant...Decorated cute, Prices were fair but the service & food was not so great. We took our Dad here for Father's Day & it took an hour to get simple breakfast orders & the place was NOT busy at the time. Then when we did receive our food our Dad was the only one to NOT get his plate...when I finally asked about where his food was, he finally got his plate 10min. later missing his side and by that point the rest of our plates were cold and to top it off the food was mediocre. They did comp his meal but we all said we would not go back after this experience. Super disappointed.
