We sat down, the waitress took our drink order and gave us menus. She brought the drinks, walked away and didn't come back. After 10 minutes, we walked out and went to the Collegeville Diner.

I'm selfishly reluctant to share my high opinion of this restaurant. It's a small restaurant and I don't relish the idea of a line out the door. I currently wait a short period for a table. Their menu has all the usual breakfast options plus additional options unique to them. I particularly like their skillet meals and often , with my small appetite, save half for a 2nd meal at home. They also do lunch but I've only done that once so I am not as familiar with that menu. If u do try it out, my recommendation is to try on a weekday lol!

We used to get orders for take-out from here quite often when I worked off of Arcola Road in Collegeville. It's a hidden gem, that's not so hidden. Great breakfast food made ready to order fresh and reasonably priced. Glad the store survived the pandemic and didn't shutter!!

Corner Cafe 29 is great place to eat breakfast and I'm happy it's open in this age when diners are a dying species replaced by McEggSandwich places. I've never had a bad breakfast there and their coffee is consistently good. I know they had some difficulties with the lockdowns and staffing, but I'm glad they haven't given up and closed shop.

I visited recently and the reason I chose to go here was because of the information on their site: Health & safety: Mask required · Staff wear masks · Staff get temperature checks · Staff required to disinfect surfaces between visits · This is NOT true. None of the staff wore masks, the table needed to be wiped down after we sat down and the service was very slow. We ordered very simple items and it came out wrong. After waiting a while for the food we did not want to send it back so we ate it anyway. The homefries looked like they were left overs and most of it was burnt pieces of the potato skins. I was clearly disappointed with the food but more so for their lack of concern for safety even when it is posted on this site.

I had a breakfast platter of eggs, corned beef hash, home fried potatoes and toast. Everything was delicious and made to order. I asked for crispy corned beef hash and it was cooked to perfection. One day I would love to try their lunch menu

My husband and I have been here a few times and we came recently with our kids. It’s a nice little place with good food. It’s small and there’s no reservations so call ahead if you have a larger party to see if they’re busy.

We went on a busy Saturday morning, seated ourselves and we were served quickly! Good food, we'll be back.

Delicious breakfast, my husband and I went this week for the first time. The Big Man breakfast is enough for two people..The staff is 12/10.I like the atmosphere, the restrooms are clean..Only one two thinks:1. My bacon was a little burnt.2. my potatoes were dry and a little burned too

This place was amazing. Although they were busy, the staff were super friendly and attentive. The cream chipped beef was one of the best that I’ve had. You should definitely try this place out.

We visited Corner Cafe twice in the past month. The first visit was 3 stars, due to the food taking a full hour to come out. This was crazy long, especially considering we got pancakes and sausage gravy. When the food did finally come out the flap jacks were decent but the gravy was awful. It was like someone dumped a pound of black pepper into it. Two bites and I pushed it aside. The waitress saw it, but did not question me about why it was barely touched. At that point we'd been there for almost 90 min so I didn't say anything and just paid and left.Fast forward 3 weeks and we decided to give it another chance. Skipped the "pepper gravy" and tried the cream chipped beef. Wife had omelete. She enjoyed hers, said the ingredients were fresh and insisted we come back again. My CCB was...shrug...edible. It was a weird shade of like tan, which really threw me off. I'm used to white, but maybe I'm more particular than most? As for taste, it wasn't the worst thing in the world. It had no overbearing pepper issues at least...so there's that. Home fries were tasty. Requested them well done and waitress delivered.Overall I think a 4 out of 5 is fair. If I was going off my wife's meals, it would have been an easy 5 stars. I'm sure we will be back.
