My husband & I recently moved into the area and were looking for celiac safe food. He called the restaurant to check that they do more than using gluten free pasta (like cooking it in separate water). Mario, the owner/chef assured him that the food would be safe. Not only has it been safe but also delicious. My husband always gets the penne caprese and he loves it. I have had the shrimp scampi and was very pleased with it…plenty of large shrimp and the sauce was delicious....
Mario’s is a hidden gem! We’ve lived in the area for 3 decades and never really landed on a “go to” pizza place, but now we have. We’ve been there 3 times (take out) and the pizza, calzone, stromboli, and wings were just great! We’ll definitely be going back since we now have our SPOT.
Absolutely amazing pizza! We had the chicken bacon ranch pizza. The flavors were savory and the crust was crunchy. The balance of ingredients were perfect. The sauce was just enough with a mix of chicken and bacon. The fries were crisp and cooked perfectly. The service from Jeffrey, our server, was amazing- polite, personable, and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and family friendly. I recommend trying this place.
